It definitely provides a nice grip. My Jeep leather steering wheel is smooth, hard, and devoid of any grip, so this was a welcome addition. Just 2 nitpicks ... I was the material was thinner, and I don't care for how the raised blue accent feels.
This is going right back to the store. My husband picked it up for me and noticed strings on it. On closer look the stitching is broken. This is very poor quality fabric. I put it on my steering wheel to see how it would fit and it's a joke.
I'm not sure if it's possible for one cable to provide a faster charge than another, but this one seems to charge my phone significantly faster than any other cable or car charger I've ever used. Even if it's just my imagination, this charger serves the purpose I need it for.\n\nAlso, not that it matters much, but the product picture is a little off. The cable is straight rather than spiraled as it shows in the image.
My son is currently facing felony charges because of these cute little lights because they could be seen by oncomming traffic.\nWalmart may be liable for selling these and not posting explicit warninings to young adults that arent aware of the trouble they can get into for useing these day or night.
This item consists of two parts. The first part is a really useful super sticky pad, and second part is the \"surrounding\" edges for the pad. The surrounding edge part is rubber, but not sticky like the pad. They are not attached. The designer relies on the sticky-ness of the pad to keep the upper \"surround\" in place. I found no use for the \"surround,\" but the pad works great. The pad lays nicely in a niche in my truck, and keeps my iphone5 from sliding around. I suppose if I ever was stationary, and I wanted to display something in landscaped mode on my iphone, I could dig the \"surround\" portion of the mount out of my glove box, set it up on the dash, and use it to hold my phone, but I'd probably never do that. I mainly wanted other buyers to know that this is a two piece item. I like it, and I bought one for both my car and my truck.
