Seeking to buy cotton flannel fabric in a solid brown. Put Flannel in my search engine, and this came up for purchase. This IS NOT flannel. Guess the search engine is faulty, or I should not trust the reviews of the fabric with flannel put in the search engine.
The fabric arrived quickly. Be aware that the weave is a bit loose. I used it for a Halloween costume and will put brown layered clothing underneath. Frays quite a bit as expected with burlap. It comes folded so I steamed out the creases. Good amount of sturdy fabric for the $
the print is very large, but when you cut it up, it is not as bad as the regular camo print (print is unidentifiable once cut). The pink is not very bright on the actual fabric like it is online. The material is ok, but I think I wasted my money.
I was not aware the print on this fabric was so large. If you cut it up, you will not be able to identify what the picture is. i.e. the trunk of the tree will look like a black and white cheetah. You will only be able to use the material for a large item such as a big blanket. I've already washed the 2 bundles I purchased without thoroughly checking the print so I am unable to return them. :(
I ordered the Red, and the Kelly Green. The colors were lovely. The SERVICE was exceptional--Thank You, Walmart! The quality for this felt is perfect for my plans in using it for a couple of decorative articles. Overall, Walmart has been a terrific partner whenever I have needed special materials. I have been able to make some lovely gifts for much loved family members. This felt is of a nice weight, texture and colors--they are lovely! I believe there are many uses for this felt, and I know it will be durable and easy to work with--all the things you appreciate in a \"special\" project!
Last year I was able to purchase the same material in your Novi, Michigan store to\nmake Halloween costumes.\n\nThis year, this particular material was not in stock. I was very happy to have a store\nemployee tell me to try on line. I received the material in perfect condition and faster than\nwas quoted.\n\nThis will be the second year I am making costumes and all the material (except\nthe green satin) came from Walmart.\n\nThank you and my 3 granddaughters thank you as I am making their\nHalloween costumes this year.
The is an inexpensive way to make muslin duplicates of your patterns. I used to wind up tearing my patterns to shreds so I now make duplicates of my patterns in muslin to save the wear & tear on my originals. I always wash it first, then cut it out. If it looks like it might ravel I surge it around the edges.
When it comes to animal prints, I love them all - and this cheetah cotton print is no different. I bought this print to create a shirt and that's what I did and it turned out nicely.\n\nThe only problem I have with this cotton fabric is that it is THIN. Because of its lightness, I used a fusible interfacing to give it some sturdiness.\n\nAll in all, this is a nice fabric and eye-catching print -- and would definitely recommend it to anybody.
Very nice fabric, I used it to make some fabric coasters. It was perfect for that. It is a little too stiff and wouldn't be good for clothing but for home decor it is perfect. You can see the coasters at FB dot com \/Bee Sew Happy Boutique
