I purchased this product and its works very well how ever you must take your time and follow the directions carefully and install it according to the manual and to code. You must use the right pipe, the right wire and secure it very well either buy the their tower or secure it to your house. One thing I found out from customer support when you connect the charge controller don't connect the inverter dc and ac side only the battery plus and negative this makes it perform better. I use this with a solar system i also installed and both work very well. The customer support is very good and it has a five year limited warranty. Good luck and remember take your time. You can look at you tube and you will see my video look for jerry's coleman wind turbine.

My car sits a lot and the battery would lose juice, sometimes to the point when I had to jump start it. I bought this solar panel, problem solved, it keeps my battery up and running even when the sky is overcast. Great product.

The new panel made actual barking (loud CHUFF! CHUFF! CHUFF!) sounds at the 12V socket whenever light levels hit the charge\/no charge mark, in sync with its blinking LED indicator. Weird. After a few tries, it simply stopped supplying any power whatsoever even in broad daylight.\n\nWalmart's online returns page says they honor \"any manufacturer's warranty\"--which is 5 years on this item, so I did not rush right over (brick and mortar store is not around the corner from me) to return it. When I brought it in at the 4-mo. point, I was told they would have refunded it if it were a Coleman product, but they insisted it is a Sunforce product, so too bad for me. What does it say on this product's Walmart listing? Coleman. What does all the packaging say? Coleman. Do I care who their distributor of this Coleman product may or may not be? No. What in the world are they talking about?\n\n\"Don't let the door hit you on your way out, Granny.\" Thanks, Walmart. A real class act. I even paid to fax all the paperwork to Walmart's Corporate office, in case their undlerlings had made an honest mistake, but Corporate did not so much as email me in return. They do not, obviously, honor \"any manufacturer's warranty.\" And this panel was truly freaky: when was the last time your car's lighter socket barked at you like a dog? ;-) Buyer beware.

I use with 54 watt solar panels to keep a pair of 6 volt batteries in my 5th wheel trailer charged. Also when camping away from electrical hookup which is almost always. Apparently can be damaged if left attached when another source of electricity is attached. Two others have quit working under those circumstances.
