Hey, I love a good espionage movie just like anyone else, and I am a big Julia Roberts fan, but I have to give this one a two-thumbs down (accompanied by blowing a raspberry sound). The movie dragged on, was hard to follow since it was so disjointed (trying hard to keep up with latest trend of movies where scenes are out of sequence, except this one made you dizzy and bored). Not sure characters were even that likable. Bottom line: Easy to see why this film bombed at the theaters. I would not recommend this at all. Better wait for it to come on cable if you feel you must see it. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!
Cuaron fulfills the promise of futuristic fiction; characters do not wear strange costumes or visit the moon, and the cities are not plastic hallucinations, but look just like today, except tired and shabby.
