I am a Jennifer Lawrence fan and I think she will have a great career. This movie deals with mental illness a bit too much I feel and I wonder if that part of the movie was not part of the movie, how good it would be. And Robert DeNiro obsessed with the Philly Eagles maybe a great fan of the team but he gets a little crazy with his desire with them to win all of the time. And, not knocking her but I didn't see a Oscar performance from Jennifer Lawrence.
This is the worst bluray i have ever seen. they didnt clean it up at all. looks like they just transferred it to the new format of Bluray thats it.
Has deleted scenes put back in the movie that destroy the flow of the film. It was a masterpiece the way it was. Leave it alone. Did George Lucas direct this? no then leave it alone the way it was. If you own the dvd dont bother upgrading. the dvd looks better.
Three years later in the sequel, Tucker and Chan had found their groove, even if the movie did not have as many good laughs and great stunt work. Now, though, it is an awkward Greatest Hits Reunion Show, and neither one of them seem up to the task
Purchased this Bluray DVD today and just finished playing it. While overall an enjoyable film..I was disappointed in the audio. It has a few low spots and then comes back strong. I also got the UltraViolet copy with it and all for $7.88!! Great buy ...watch it and have some fun!
I thought I was going to get two separate DVDs. Instead, I got one (1) DVD with two movies back-to-back. The first side was good; when I flipped the DVD over to see the second movie, it didn't give me the choice of using subtitles, which I ALWAYS use. Because of this, we were unwilling to watch the movie. Waste of my money.
I put my order in for this movie on 1\/15\/13. On 1\/23\/13, I received an email saying that my store pickup order has been delayed. Today I get an email saying that you guys have received the items that I have returned. How could I return something that I never received? I was very disappointed in this whole transaction. I value Wal-Mart's customer service but this whole experience has been thoroughly disappointing. I am not sure if the issue is due to me electing to pick up the items @ a Fed-Ex store or not. Whatever the case, this was frustrating!
The contrast between Tucker's motormouth and Chan's man of few words should be funnier, but the plot -- which is cliched without quite becoming self-reflexive -- and the uneven pace dampen most of their moments.
I love Rush Hour!!! Jackie Chan was one of my favorite actors to watch while growing up. Jackie and Chris Tucker make for a unique, odd pair in this movie. Lots of laughs and great fighting.\nMy friends and I would quote those movie all the time!!
