Hook is overwhelmed by a screenplay heavy with complicated exposition, by what are, in effect, big busy nonsinging, nondancing production numbers and some contemporary cant about rearing children and the high price paid for success.
I was searching for DVDs on the Walmart website. I was looking in the section listed as $5.00 DVDs. I have wanted White Squall for a while now and placed it in my cart not realizing it was a Blu-Ray & not a DVD. When it arrived I didn't want it since I do not own a Blu-Ray player. I was not too happy this movie was offered in with all the cheap DVDs. I will accept only a small portion of the blame, I mostly blame Walmart for putting in the incorrect section in the first place. Picking my order up was a MAJOR ordeal, waited 20 plus minutes for someone to show up at the service counter and when someone did, she couldn't help me!!!! So I waited another 10-15 minutes until she got someone back there. When I explained I didn't want the Blu-ray, I was told I had to take my 'purchase' to the service desk at the front on the store. After waiting in line for another 25 minutes, that girl told me I had to return the movie back at the pick-up counter. By now, I'm not in the best of moods and about ready to scream at the top of my lungs!!! When a nice young man walked up and stated he could take care of my return at that counter. FINALLY!!! By now I have wasted over 2 hours for a movie I didn't get. I will think twice and read three times before I buy anything else from Walmart Site-TO-Store. My advise to Walmart is stop being SO CHEAP AND HIRE SOME PEOPLE FOR YOUR STORES!!!!
