I bought this BOSS SUB FROM WALMART .COM to store shipment fedex I got it quicker then estimated with the recommended sealed box I connected it to my 1500 boss mono amp wired it in @2 ohm and it hits hard. Only thing is maybe because it a lower watt sub it hits as hard as my 2 MTX subs I had so it ended up replacing my 12's so I got more trunk space now same sound. I was happy with the price and sound. I say its worth it despite the bad comments they bought the subs as well so must tell you something. I say buy it sounds good!!

Overall I am exceptionally pleased with this unit and I'm getting ready purchase a second for another vehicle I have and will continue to recomend this unit to others
I bought these speakers with the assumption that they would be cheaply made and the sound quality marginal...... I couldn't have been more wrong! the highs are crisp and clear and the lows hit that spot in your chest that makes you say woh. I definately recommend this set to people who know how to do custom installations.(If you don't know what you're doing you could do some serious damage to your vehicle making it so you can see the face plates). these are best fitted to rear panel mounting putting them in the door panels risks kicking and breaking the skull plates and possibly puncturing the speakers.
I read all the reviews and I honestly don't know what people are talking about when they say that these speakers are great. I had blown speakers that I would give a grade F or a D to and now with installation and parts for a new sound system I am out $300.00 and the speakers are only a little better than they were before. This really bites!!

What our shoppers say:
all u need
this is the perfect amp kit for anyone powering under about 600 wats (just because u dont want obnoctious abounts of power runing through 10 guage) i wouldent run 1000 wats through it but i have a 500 wat 2 chanel and it works great
I've owned more expensive antennas, but also paid more!\nLooks like its gonna work just fine for my application, boat\nstereo antenna. Easy to mount too!
I haven't even completed the installation or powered the amp up yet, and when I attempted to connect the minimum manufacturer recommendation of a 4-AWG (gauge) power cable or larger, the terminal on the amp to connect it would in no way allow the cable to fit. I spent about an hour trying different things to get it to fit snug, and eventually ended up stripping back almost half the copper cords to get it to fit, so now the cable that is actually in contact with the amp terminal is half the size or \"gauge\" the manufacturer recommended. I don't know if this will effect amp performance or not, but I was disappointed and frustrated already and I haven't even used it yet!!!
