My wife bought one of these for me to try for dinner when we have, "You're on your own night".
WOW....quick, simple, tastes GREAT, very filling.....I eat the whole package....YUM. So much better than a frozen "whatever" or a pot pie.
i just made this on the stovetop and it came out just fine. after i cooked it i stirred in some cooked frozen peas and then i divided it into 3 bowls. so i ate one bowl and put 2 in the fridge for the next 2 days. as a senior who does not like to cook this is great. plus i have much more room in cabinets to store food rather than the limited space in the freezer. i order from walmart about once a month and if i buy 3 different boxes of these mixes that is food for 9 days with minimal preperation. plus i don't have to carry it home from the store. and plus not a lot of calories but filling.
It's easy to fix ; doesn't take a lot of preparation and is ready in about 20 min total in the microwave ! I like them because I can eat 2 days on 1 meal ! You don't have to use the microwave; but I do because it is quicker ! They taste delicious and they are filling .
Item: Cheeseburger Flavors
Brand: Hamburger Helper
Purchase Offline, In Store

The quality of the product itself was very good. The cost per amount really wasn’t.

The cooking process of the meal is easy and efficient. It comes with quick steps and it a fast meal that tastes good. Hamburger Helper is very well known for that. As a tip, if you keep the grease from the meat and add it to the mix during the noodle stage it tastes even better, IMPO, because the package doesn’t have as much spice and kick as it could.

The finish texture, if cooked for the correct time, it very good. The noodles do get a bit soft and larger than planned, if you stop too early they get hard and stiff and don’t cook all the way, but that is a price you pay for swift meal and quick boil noodles.

The taste is always amazing.

The only real problem I have with product, which is what kicks it down to a 4 out of 5, is that there isn’t enough product in it. On TV they always show a family of 3 to 5 enjoying it as a meal and having good portions but honestly it doesn’t make enough for two to eat fully. At almost two dollars a box it really isn’t an affordable meal. I only get them when they are on sale in multipacks, or are discounted at the Grocery Outlet because they are a few days past their sale date; since they are a dry food they are still good for a while after their sale date. (I don’t feel this way about all food though; I honor the Milk sale buy dates like they are federal laws.)

I would suggest it to a friend, but not to a friend who has a large family, or even a family of more than two. I also wouldn’t suggest it to a male friend because my male friends, mostly all in their 20’s, could eat two boxes in one sitting and that isn’t cost effective.
i'm a senior citizen and i really don't like to cook. this is really easy and makes 3 meals for 3 days for me. remember to stir so seasonings don't get stuck to the pan. takes me 25 minutes on the stovetop. not much "meat" as i expected but i added grated cheese after cooking and then put sour cream on top and it really made a tasty, filling meal. so much cheaper than ordering delivery and much less fat and calories. no point in ordering a delivery unless i am really hungry and this is just fine.

What our shoppers say:
Love the taste!
These are great with ham, sausage or bacon for a casserole meal on cold days. Full of flavor and easy preparation makes it a no brainer for those times when you are tired and not in the mood for cooking.
