How can you go wrong with Sandra Bullock! By buying it at WalMart site to store. I went to Randleman, NC WalMart to pick up my order. I located the site to store pickup location, pushed the button to summons help and waited and waited and waited. I could see 5-6 employees huddled up in the storage area so I slapped my hand on the counter - they looked but continued to ignore me. I yelled \" You have a customer out here\" and once again they looked, did not say a word and continued to ignore me. I went to the front and asked for the store manager. The assistant manager showed up and we went back to the pickup area and no one was around so the manager took care of getting my order. She said she was sorry this happened but she could not do anything about it. IF WALMART DOES NOT CHANGE IT'S WAYS AND LISTEN TO IT'S CUSTOMERS THEY WILL FALL. Right now is the perfect time for a new (or Target) retailer to rise up, Watmart is in a position to lose big time. If a new retailer would come on the scene and treat their employees and customers like owners they would wipe out Walmart. I hear it from people all the time - I hate Walmart but there is no where else to shop.
Ultimately the script's often sharp social satire is drowned out by the noise and confusion. It is also undercut by casting virtually all the psychopathically murderous criminals as minority-group members.
I don't require acceptance and reconciliation, and La Mission is forthright in avoiding easy answers. But does the screenplay shortchange Che by painting him more broadly at the film's end than he seemed at the beginning?
My 1st runner up movie is Lady Sings The Blues that touched my soul. Then I saw this movie and could not forget the phenomenal acting I saw. The love scene Benjamin played was awesome. This movie is my second all time favorite. I watch it over and over and it takes me to a different place that's peaceful in my life. I don't know if any one can understand. But every one likes what they like.
While one might have wished for a better movie, and a few smarter decisions regarding the screenplay, generally it's a riveting, even inspirational account of an American feat of arms about which few know but about which many more should.
The cast in this movie did an excellent job in portraying real life people during WWII. They made the events come alive for those of us too young to know what happened over there and brought tears to me during the movie. This is one heck of a great movie. However, it is so close to the events, remember this when you get it as your older family members may be really effected by the movie.
