Bought this bed for my 1st child about a year ago. The bed holds up nicely and the finish still looks like new. We're having a 2nd child and decided to get the same bed. I'm looking forward to converting the bed to the various stages as the children get bigger. Wonderful product for the price. Nothing negative to say about this product.

I purchased the olivia changer as well as the 4 drawer dresser and the crib. The dresser was falling apart before my son was even born. Every time I opened a drawer a screw would fall out or the face of the drawer would fall off. My husband had to glue pieces back on just for it to serve it's purpose.\nMy son is 5 months old now and of course we use the changer every day, multiple times a day. The top slides and of course screws fall out. I was restocking his diapers and the shelves collapsed. He does not sleep in the crib and I don't think he EVER will.\nI know this is not top of the line, grade \"A\" furniture but it should at least serve it's purpose, and should be able to use for more than 5 months. Like I said it was falling apart before my son was even born.

I love it, not only does it look good, but it's very solid. It was a great price and my husband and I put it together in about and hour. It will last for a long time! It's an awesome baby bed!

We have the entire set and LOVE it! The pieces are sturdy and nice quality wood. I would have liked the drawer bottoms to be a bit more solid, but I think it will be fine!\n\nWORD OF CAUTION: There is an issue with the drawers once the furniture is put together. The drawers can collapse on each other when opening and closing them. What we found is happening is that because it is a tall dresser (this problem didn't happen with the small one) the middle of the dresser bows out a bit (although not visibly) and so the drawers can come off their tracks and fall to the drawer below. My husband fixed this by removing the tracks (on the actual furniture itself...not the drawers) and he put pads on the side that faces the wall of the dresser. You could use pads, shims, even possibly cardboard. Then he screwed each track back in place. This allowed for each track to jut out into the unit a bit more. This way, the drawers are able to stay on track. You should not HAVE to do this, but it really wasn't a hard fix if you like the entire set. And like I said, this problem does not happen on the 3 drawer changer.\n\nWe would still purchase this item again.

This product is very functional- I love that it is a changing table and dresser in one piece. We have a tiny nursery and could not fit a changing table plus a dresser or chest in the room. We got the Ebony (black) finish and it is beautiful. It was a little more \"involved\" to assemble than the matching Cadence crib was, but still very simple nontheless. It only took my husband about 45 min to get it together. Like the crib, it is lightweight yet super sturdy. The drawers glide in and out very easily. I didn't know that it came with a flat foam pad for the top of the table, but it does- however it is very chinsey and was ripping at the seams after being unwrapped for only 10 minutes. That didn't bother us though since we were not planning on using the included foam pad anyways- we will be getting a much nicer concave changing pad to replac e it. The size of the top of the table is standard so that most other changing pads will fit perfectly.

Our 18 month old boy has slept on this mattress since the first night he actually made it into the crib. We love that it is a real mattress instead of plastic! It still looks brand new! It has two sides- one for newborns and one for toddlers. We plan on getting another one for our next baby!

The crib may be top-notch, but I have no basis of comparison since this is the first I have purchased.\n\nSo this review only discusses packaging. This is the worst packaging design I have ever seen. When all parts were removed from the box, I was amazed that the amount of styrofoam they included even fit in the box! The styrofoam was low-quality and fell apart easily creating huge mess and causing a health-hazard for the baby and our pets.\n\nIn addition to styrofoam, the amount of additional cardboard and paper was unnessary, disturbing, and ultimately upsetting. If everything had not been out of the box and too difficult to return, this definitely would have made its way back to the store.\n\nI do not like to support a company as reckless, rude, and ignorant as this manufacturer. Pay attention to what you buy and please consider the planet for the kid you are buying this for.\n\nVery disappointing!

loading product information I guess you could say a dresser made out of paper was "u2022100 percent New Zealand sustainable Pine Wood" too, because paper is made out of wood. This dresser is not that bad, but it is also not solid wood which is what I was expecting from that description. The top, drawer fronts, drawer sides, drawer backs, the cabinet door, and the "frame" (legs and crossbraces) are all solid wood. The entire dresser sides and divider between the drawers and cabinet are mdf (or whatever the heavier pressed wood is called that has larger chunks of wood in it). The shelves are made of the kind of particle board that is heavy, but also mutates and bubbles the second a drop of water touches it, and the drawer bottoms and back of the dresser are made of the particle board that is just one grade above cardboard for thickness and one grade below for brittleness. All of that said, the dresser was fairly easy to put together at 7.5 months pregnant, the drawers are flush without gaps and slide perfectly, it is big enough to be useful for smaller baby and toddler clothes, and it feels sturdy enough for a few years use (except maybe the drawer bottoms-why do they insistent on making drawer bottoms out of this junk?). In the end I was pretty disappointed that this wasn't solid wood, but it was too much trouble to return it when it is basicallly the same as all the other dresser options at this price point. If I had it to do over again, I would have probably bought a Canwood product to go with the Canwood twin bed we got, but FYI, the cherry colors match well.

My husband and I had this given to us by my parents and when we had gotten it home and started to assemble, what we thought was going to be an hour or so job, turned out to be an all nighter. Granted we do not have an automatic screwdriver that would've cut down a lot on the time, but there was just so much to assemble! The crib was easier to put together then the dresser was!!! Another thing is that for the money you would think that you would get a regular wooden back to the dresser when in fact you only get a thick piece of cardboard that you have to screw 20 screws into the back of it! And there is a screw to hold onto the front of the door and 2 of those broke on one side and on the other were starting to bend! And there were barely any clothes in there! We are indeed surprised especially for the money that it cost!

loading product information I bought this for my daughter's nursery. I put this together being 5 months pregnant by myself with out any problems. It is a very heavy piece of furniture. I did have to figure out how to lay certain pieces to be able to put it together by myself. Definitely would have been easier with two, however my husband was away on business and i wanted to set up the nursery as a surprise.\nThe quality is a little better than i had expected. Like I said, it is very heavy (100 lbs), and stable. I had it delivered to my house and I was worried if the wood would be damaged at all. And to my surprise it wasn't. Everything looked great. I do wish the drawers were a little bit deeper though. But for a baby\/child I think it will work out just fine. It is made out of PINE, which is a very SOFT wood. So just keep that in mind. If you're careful all will be fine.\nAlso, the color is as it looks online. Matches pretty well with the Babymod Bella 3 piece Nursery Set. Not exact but really close. From a distance it looks like a matching set, but close up you can see a little difference.\nAll in all, it gets my approval!

loading product information We purchased this product after reading all of the positive reviews and the cost for the crib, changer, and dresser. The order was placed on Friday evening and they shipped it standard ground and we recieved it Tuesday when we arrived home from work. Great transit time. Take your time when putting this set together. All the parts were labeled and as long as you follow the instructions you should have no problem. The easiest item to put together was the changing table, then the crib. The dresser took the most time but again as long as you follow the directions and keep things organized you should have no problem. The set is beautiful and we are very happy with it.
