These tortillas are soft and delicious. Also, they are also the ONLY brand I have found without sodium aluminum phosphate. I avoid eating aluminum because it has been linked to Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. (My grandmother had Parkinson's which is why I am especially cautious.)
I would highly suggest checking the box for all contents. I didn't and when I wanted to use the shells, I discovered that the \"formers\" were missing from the box. What a waste of money. I did manage to save the shells until I received the nonstick shell formers that I ordered online. I also emailed Azteca Foods to let them know that they screwed up. It's embarrasing because they claim the shells are a \"product of the USA\". The shells are packaged in plastic wrapping, so don't worry if you need to open the box to make sure everything is there.
