I tried this on my little pup and it didn't bother him at all. He would look up for a second if I used it at least 6' or closer then go on about his business. If I was further then 6' he didn't even hear it I guess because he showed no signs or changes in behavior. The red light was lit up so guess it was putting out it's sonic noise. I returned the item and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I have a 50 lb Finnish Lapphund. Her neck is thicker than her head so if she pulls she can work the collar off. I have used other harnesses before and if she gets excited she still pulls. This worked great from the first time. I have excellent control with it absolutely no pulling. The only negative I have to say about it is that its best for walks or runs. If I use it to take her to the Vet or to visit someone and we stop, as soon as the leash slackens it falls off her back. It seems as if there should be some type of clasp to keep it in place. It could also be a little longer.
This back seat cover was great the only thing that I did not like is that it was a tad but short for my back seat I have a Hyundai sonata. But other then that it does it job of protecting the rest of The seat.
Ok, so I didn't buy it here from Walmart but I got it from the Dollar Tree instead. Yes, at the Dollar Tree for $1!!! As soon as I took the harness out of the box I felt that it was too light weight to offer any control. But, with the technology these days, there are very light weight fabrics that are extremely strong. No so with this item. I put it on Spike to go out for a walk. We didn't get to the end of the porch before he pulled and it tore. Don't waste your money.
