This is a timeless 1980's movie. Ann Bancroft captured the pain and heartache of an overweight person as well as the a thin person's inability to understand why people have weight problems. Funny yet heartwarming. I would recommend it for adults and mature youth.
This dvd was hard to find! I searched for it everywhere and could only find a very expensive copy. Thanks Walmart for making it available at a VERY reasonable price! This movie is GREAT! My daughter is in the Military and this movie really inspires a future for our Daughters in the Military and that any obstacle can be overcome when our Country, Freedom, and soldiers are at risk.\nThanks!\nDusty
The emotional elevation of the film is due in no small measure to the extraordinarily engaging performances of Anne Bancroft as the wife-mother-mistress, Dustin Hoffman as the lumbering Lancelot, and Katherine Ross as his fair Elaine.
The movie was okay for me nothing great, my wife loved it and it\u2019s a great family movie. Ended where I thought it was unfinished with the story. All and all glad I purchased it and it was a great price for a great movie. Would highly recommend DVD for family movie time.
