I use this every day and actually feel the results unlike other dvds that have you hop around, this dvd gives plenty of excellent exercises and shows that taking time, (not hopping around) and using proper form is what will get maximum results.
I stopped using dvd workouts til recently. A friend of mine loves the Jillian Michaels workouts so I purchased the extreme shed and shred dvd. The workout is GREAT, I have been working out at the gym for past 5 years and this workout will definitely CHALLENGE you. My body plateaued and this workout kicked it back into gear. Don't just walk through the workout, you must DO it and it will change you.
This is an excellent workout! It hits all areas of the body and is a real challenge. I take a kickboxing class and my instructor suggested the Jillian Michaels DVD's for my off days and I'm really glad that she did because they work just like her class! They tone and make you lose weight! I highly recommend the Jillian Michaels workout DVD's and I have 5 of them!
For the first 3 days I could barely move and doing things was hard because my muscles hurt so much. After that it got a little easier and slowly I noticed I could do more and more without being winded. While I didn't notice a big weight drop in the first week or so I did notice that my close were fitting better and could see a change happening. I as well as a lot of friends on myfitnesspal.com use it and all love the results we are seeing from her workout. I am still on level 1 and am looking forward to levels 2 and 3. This is one of the best weight loss things I have bought and am loving it.
This is by far a really hard work out, but good. It works, but feel so depleted afterwards. Worth it though. Week one is tough, can't imagine what week two will be like! Getting used to it though so time will tell! You won't get results unless you work hard, this is obvious. Jillian keeps you motivated and has me laughing at times. Just keep in mind you can do this, it's tough, but you can! If I can, anyone can!! Don't give up!
After having two kids and being out of shape I wanted to ease back into a low impact workout routine but also get results. This DVD is great for starting out. The pace is perfect and it's easy to follow along.\nI've noticed a change in my waist and hips immediately after only 1 week of continuous use. It's only 35 minutes so I squeeze in a quick workout after I put the kids to bed.\nI've started alternating 2 nights pilates, 1 night brisk walking on the treadmill to add some variety.When I look for a tougher workout, I repeat the floor portion of the DVD.\nI highly recommend but stress it's probably best for beginners as a more experienced pilates enthusiast may find it to be too slow.
I purchased this product because I have such a busy schedule and needed something that I can work into my schedule.\nThis product is great because it has five 10 minute workouts and I can either do all 5 or 1 if I'd like.\nIt also give you the option of creating your own personal workout. So if I want to do Abs and Buns and thighs. I will pick those two 10 min workouts.\n\nI love this product it fits right into my busy mom schedule and recommend to anyone whether you are busy single person or busy mom.
I LOVE this DVD. It's a bit challenging at first but it gets easier. As mentioned before there a 3- 20 minute workouts. Each targets a specific region more BUT your whole body gets a workout. One targets abs, the other upper body and the other lower body. It's amazing and FUN. By the end you will be drenched in sweat.
I have back problems so this was the PERFECT workout for me. I also appreciate how there is an associate in the back who shows \"moderated\" moves that helps you if you're new to exercising or still getting the hang of the \"moves\" OR if you are like me and aren't able to accomplish all of the suggested exercises. I have been very pleased with the results--toned muscles and more stamina. Not for someone who is looking for a high impact, immediate-results type program, but that's not what I was looking for. Also great because of the time--everyone can work in a 10-minute workout. It's great! I highly recommend it!
For starting out this dvd is AWESOME. I just wish it had 2 versions. A starter and an advanced version. After you learn the moves and know what's going on it's like 'come on already'. I wish I could find a dvd that had all of this at a faster pace.
I did this dvd throughout my last pregnancy and am getting it for this pregnancy. I liked that is was no too long and not too slow and the poses were challenging enough but they gave options to make it easier for beginners or for women further along.
We had the fat burning yoga on VHS and misplaced it. We had been wanting the DVD because when we have taken the VHS on vacation, we never could use it because most places just had a DVD player. We were happy to find it on DVD through walmart and were happy about the price. We thought of \"The Joy of Yoga\" just as a bonus. I watched it one day while getting ready to do the other and decided I will never do it. It's older and it seems more choppy than the other and that is just a little too distracting. I like the flow of the \"Fat Burning Yoga\" much better as well as the music. So we are happy and would recommend this product solely for the \"Fat Burning Yoga.\"
