I purchased this kitchen for my daughter who loves to \"cook\". When I purchased it, I did not expect much. For under $50, I only expected it to make a sound or two and for the doors to open and close. After spending a considerable amount of time carefully removing all of the pieces and trimming the sharp edges left behind, I completed 80% of the assembly before realizing that the doors will not open and close properly when installed. The grooves (at least on mine) do not match up and despite all of the trimming, the edges won't be clean. You can plainly see where the pieces come together because the tabs are not long enough to snap in the whole way. There are areas of white on every colored piece where you have to snap off each from the sheet. While I do not care for the color scheme of the Step 2, it seems to be better made.

Grandson was a little disappointed that phone doesn't ring, but loved that he could hang it on his waistband! He is 2+ and the moving gears and hanging tools caught his fancy.

Though it was only $20, it was the worst thing I ever bought. Originally bought it for my son who loves to play pretend for Christmas. The instructions were not easy to follow, parts were too cheaply made, and broke within the first week of him playing with it. Scanner barely made a sound and no matter how fine I filed all of the points where they broke off from each other, they were still sticking out enough to scratch him. And the shelves on the stand almost never stayed on, if it weren't for the screws on the side, they would've came off completely. Not worth your $20, unless you like throwing it in the garbage.

Can't beat this for the money. The only knock I have against this product is that it is was a little tricky putting together. M 14 month absolutely loves it. Great but!

My two granddaughters love this little gourmet kitchen. They are 3 and 5 and play with it everytime they come over. It's not real big but it is sturdy and easy to put together.

We wanted a tea cart\/set with more than a place setting for two, which proved to be a little difficult. Also, it isn't super high quality (the cart wobbles a tiny bit), but since our daughter is 2, we wanted something she could bang around and not worry about breaking (we will get her a porcelain set when she is older). Her 4 year old brother plays with it and it hasn't broke yet! There are a LOT of little pieces, but plenty of room to store them. It is what we hoped it would be and a great value for the price, we thought.

I bought this for my 19 month old son to eat on in the house (he could climb in and out of his highchair and I was afraid he would fall out of a booster seat). This table is perfect for toddlers (will not sit a very big child-weight limit per child is 42 lbs). There are a few draw backs to the table. If using it inside it slides very very easily across the floor (making it easy for a toddler to push it up to a counter then climb on top of to reach things that are suppose to be out of reach). You can not put 4 children at the table like it shows because the eating area is too small for 4 plates to fit on. The main drawback to me is the space\/crack down the middle of the eating area-gives a child a great place to cram food which isn't always easy to clean out. Even with the negatives, if you are looking for something sturdy for 1 to 2 small children to sit at in your home or occasionally outside I would still recommend this product. It is EXTREMELY sturdy once you get it together (by the way the few directions on the outside of the box is all you get, but it isn't hard to put together). My son loves his table!!!

The bottom bin holds a lot more toys than you would expect. The yellow lid is detachable so we took it off for easy access and for my 3 year old to be able to put the toys away easier. I like the red bins on the top but the second row ones fall out easier than I would like. I'm considering gluing them in. The top three we use to store books and works perfectly. It's also a very sturdy product and can handle quite a bit of weight on each shelf. We've had this for about a year and a half and have had no problems, even when my son used to pull himself up on it it never once toppled.

The description says it is a powered toy. I didn't know they meant \"kid-powered\". If you were looking for a toy for children to have to push themselves I suppose it's fine.

My 1.5 old son slips off of the seat when he is trying to move forward and gets his head and neck caught between the seat and the steering wheel. I have had to pull him up and out, which is very difficult to do with out one adult to hold the vehicle steady while I pull a frantic child out of a very narrow space. If my son was to squeeze his head under the steering wheel, he would be strangled by the steering rods underneath. Very scary and I am writing the company to appeal for a recall of this product before a child gets seriously injured.

The cheap price is the best indicator of this. The plastic is very flimsy and one-sided. I threw it away.

I ordered these chairs offline thinking that they would be great for all my kids. When I got them I realized they are smaller than I expected. My 3 year old sits great in them but as far as older kids, like 5 years old, I wouldnt recommend them. They are too small for kids over 3.
