i purchased it as part of my mobile office to take on trips in my carry-on bag. previously used $60 printer\/scanner that didn't make it through the last trip so well and took up a lot of space.\n\ncompact size. appears to be sturdily constructed.\n\nnot a lot of features but works. would be nice if it had some software to combine pages, scan direct to email, etc. especially for the price.\n\npaper feed leaves a lot to be desired.
This is the best color laser printer for home use in the HP lineup. Decent print quality, easy to use, excellent price from Walmart, not too complicated. The direct print option is a little bit flaky but I finally got it figured out. If you have a home router I'm sure this would not be an issue. I'm still learning to use all its capabilities but have no hesitation in recommending this all in one printer to others.
Copier Resolution: Black, up to 600 x 300 dpi; Color, up to 600 x 300 dpi
What our shoppers say:
I love the printer, however, it DID NOT come with any ink. I paid almost $300 for this printer and HP forgot to include the ink that was supposed to be included with the printer. I went to the HP website to inform them of this and have heard nothing back from them. I know that the ink that is usually included is trial ink, but they could have at least put it in the box so I could have set my printer up instead of having to wait until I bought ink cartridges that should have been there in the first place. I was really disappointed, especially since I have always used HP and even the cheaper printers come with ink cartridges. So sad. Make sure your printer has ink if you buy this printer.
Bought it a few days ago, recieved the printer and couldn't wait to use it.\nOpened it etc...\nTried to connect it to Wireless and it was having issues.\nSaid Wireless Radio unable to connect.\nNever got to connect it wifi.\nHad to use bluetooth and USB.\nWould recommend to friend but strongly advise about wifi if it is refurbished.\nGood for price though :)
Refurbished unit did not work properly from the start - only printed about 10 copies then started jamming paper on every attempt to print. The copies that did print okay still crinkled on the pickup end during feed from the start.
I bought this printer and I find it works great, it was easy to set up and does all I need it to do! I do a lot of printing and find the ink lasts much longer than my Lexmark did! I would recommend this printer and I'm thinking about getting another for my Grandson who will need one for college. I give it a 5 stars!
I am somewhat familiar with HP printers, yet I did not need anything really elaborate. This printer offered me all the options that I require. The major difference so far, will be that the older desktop printers used two cartridges. This will be my first with the newer format. By Walmart making it available to me in the manner that it did worked out just right. I prefer to pick things up at the store rather than have them delivered to the house. Everything is fine.
