I first watched this movie I believe when I was around 6-7 yrs old back in 1987. I had never forgotten it nor the experience after watching it. This movie left a lasting impression on me. It has taken me 23 yrs to figure out what the name was so that I could find and purchase it. Now I will pass down this amazing story to my 3 boys so that they too can not only enjoy it as a movie, but hopefully they will walk away with something more valuable as I had when I was their age.
This is without a doubt a beautiful transfer of this anime feature to HD, plus this being a miyazaki film you cant go wrong with this story of a earth so polluted that the last remains of humanity cling to coastal villages awaiting a savior to free the earth back to its clean and vibrant rebirth and in comes nausicaa to try to do just that. Highest possible recommendation!!!
At first this appears to be something that you wouldn't associate with Tim Burton, but as the story progresses, you quickly see all of the magic that you love. It's a terrific and touching story about a father's stories and his son's disbelief. Funny and Imaginative, you won't regret viewing.
With Flicka, young ladies who weren't in the market for Brokeback Mountain get their own chance to drool over the wide open spaces and awe-inspiring mountains of Wyoming, if they can avert their gaze from the gorgeous horses, that is.
Raimi took the horror/comedy by the scruff of the neck in 1981 with his no-budget, roller-coaster of a possession film Evil Dead...and he brings his big bag of tricks to his much-anticipated return to horror, Drag Me To Hell.
This movie went beyond my expectations. Very intense at times, you can definitely tell the Evil Dead director did this movie. Music and sounds of this flim is what puts it over the top.\n\nGreat disgusting stuff too!!!
I got the dvd and tried to watch the 3d movie. I could not get it to work. The 2d worked. Sent it back and got another dvd tried again. Same thing happened. I did not buy the dvd to see it in 2d. Sent back the second dvd.
