Unisol is a great product and I have been using it for 28 years. If you have sensitive eyes or are allergic to preservatives like I am, it's a great contac solution. It's the only thing I will ever use, and since my local WalMarts have taken it off their shelves, it's really handy to order online and get it shipped to home or a nearby WalMart.
This stuff works great. I use a better antihistamine now and therefore, the Naphcon A Eye Allergy Relief Eye Drops work better. I use several types of eye drops and sometimes this one is the one I needed for a really bad allergy day. It can burn just a bit when you first put it in your eye if your eyes are irritated but that's because it's doing it's job and it will go away in seconds. If you need to go somewhere and your eyes are blood shot and swollen, this is the stuff that you need. I've been very pleased with this product and recommend for people with allergies. I use it only when the other eye drops just won't help with the burning and itching. I guess the antihistamine contained in this product is why it works on those really bad allergy days. Highly recommend!
Has no preservative & comes in individual vials that are reclosable - can be used more than once.\nTried so many other better known brands but this one gives the most relief at a way better price.\nConvenient to carry in purse or pocket without leaking. Gives my eyes the relief & lubrication they need without any irritation. Gives me crystal clear vision - no blurriness. Especially good during allergy season.
I don't want to purchase anything else any more. I also have SJS and this is by far the best one I've tried. It clears my vision while it moisturises my eyes and my eyes immediately feel refreshed. I do hope they do not discontinue this!!
Exactly what was advertised. It burned in my eyes and I had to dabbed it out. Giant shipping box large enought to ship a thin-client doesn't help. Giant 1 oz bottle will go to waste, as baterial gowth will make it go bad before I can use it all. I'm SOrry for all the misleading information, In fact, I was so misled in buying this that I just go back and buy more VISLUBE. After all VISLUBE is ~30% more economical (is ~$8.85 for a pack, useful for 30 days, and I can get them discounted), comes in single use vitals, and does not sting,.
I use this product every morning and evening when putting in or removing my contact lenses. I remove the lens from the case, put in the palm of my hand, rinse with this solution, and put in my eyes. I remove them from my eyes, put in the palm of my hand, rinse, and put in the case. I have not had any problems with eye sensivity using this product. It does a great job of keeping my lenses clean and clear. I replace my lenses once, sometimes twice, per week.
I have dry eyes, to the point that I was prescribed Restasis (did not use, side effects too risky). I have found these drops to be the best alternative. They are great for the infrequent re-wet or when you first wake up. The bottle is large and lasts a long time.
