Dejavu is the type of movie that will keep up your interest through out the entire movie. You have to keep up with it, or you might get lost and confused on whats transpiring. Denzel Washington does a real good acting performence and really adds to the movie.\n\nThe Blu Ray Quality is above average, but not what I would consider extremely good, although it still is enjoyable to watch and I would recommend this \"older\" movie, as enjoyed it, and I remember seeing it years ago.
Denzel never fails to please and has done no less in this feature. Story of an ATF agent trying to stop a crime befor it happens. Realistic effects, Great Story, Sound, Directing, Acting, Dialogg, Cast, Soundtrack etc. etc. A must view for Denzel Fans.
I really enjoyed this movie, its a nice mix of three old world stories: the Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty & the Beast, and The Phantom of the Opera. Francouer, our giant flea, is the Monster in Paris. He is taken in by the the lovely Lucille and end up sing at the caberet The Rare Bird. There is a constant love story between the characters: Lucille\/Roaul, Emile\/Maud, and Francouer & his music.\n\nThe plot was shaky at times and there were some micro-glitches in animation, but what dissipointed me was the lack of French in this movie. No French dialoge, which suck because the original voice actress for Lucille spoke French and did the dub for the French version! All the songs in French were, in my opinion, much better.
It's a great film and I ordered it for my nursing class as an example of mental illness. Delivery to the store was fast but when I got it handed to me the case was smashed in half. Luckily the disc had popped out and survived. The customer service lady was nice and offered to return it for me, but being short on time with my class coming up I had to take it \"as is.\" The moral of the story is always check the product in front of an employee before you leave.
