This is an HD port of the 3DS game and by far the best of the home console versions. I love that you can play on the gamepad if someone else wants to watch tv. The controls are very good for this kind of game, the graphics are awesome, and so far (Have not finished it yet) the story is a lot of fun to play. I love resident evil games, and this is one of the most enjoyable to play.
This game looks so cool with the idea of mixing memories. It is just a big platformer that tries to be cool. The combos are a mess to put together and there is no real tutorial on it. The game is a confusing mess story wise. You are jumped around everywhere. The load screens are longer than usual for a game like this. There is something about the game i love though. The memory mixes are great. They are fun puzzles.
This is an Amazing revamp of this long time series though it has been underselling and getting an undeserved bad rep from bias fans... I'm a long time DMC fan myself and I had my reservations about the new Dante but giving it a chance really played off.. The changes fit into the new story and without giving anything away, as the game progresses I think hardcore fans will be pleasantly surprises by some changes he undergoes.\n\nThis game has Tons of replay value with unlock-able modes, hidden missions and concept art. The revamped battle system lets you switch between weapons on the fly and use them to string together insane new combos and the style rating system is a blast, rewards creativity and makes you want to replay levels to outdo yourself and others online. With the new DLC's longtime fans can get the costume and hair from the Dante of old or several other possibilities if they just can't get past the new punkish look he sports in this game.\n\nThis fresh spin on the series has great visuals and a very cool gritty urban art style, a fantastic story and polished to near perfection game-play that never ceases to be fun and engaging. While it's a reboot of the series it retains the spirit of what made the original series so great and improves it with a deeper story, fighting mechanics and replay value with loads of extras. In my opinion I would say that this is the best DMC to date...\n\nIf i had anything negative to say it would only be that some of the dialog could be dialed back a bit..
For a while I've been wanting to buy this game, but was waiting for a price drop. Once it did, I was shopping around different websites and found it to be the cheapest here at Walmart.com. It was around $14 after taxes where as other places had it for $15 before taxes. Only complaint is that the game box had a little damage (a scratch) but that only irks me because I'm a perfectionist.
