The sound is very clear. It is the perfect size for your desk and tough enough for being outside at a job site. It also has auxiliary features where you can listen with headphones. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

When my old one malfunctioned, I purchased this one. It's by far much easier to use because it's light and easy to handle and it's the perfect size. The fact that it has Bluetooth, which pairs with my wireless ear buds, is both convenient and economical. And did I mention the sound? The sound is clear and pure! My GPX boombox is awesome! Thank you, GPX! ❤️

Mary - 3 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase1/22/2014The digital readout is messed up and you can't tell what station you are on, the signal is really poor even when using the antenna, i would only recommend it if someone was looking for the cheapest option possible(which I was), it could be where the radio is being used that is causing the signal issue but I highly doubt it, the signal will come in but only when the radio is placed in a certain spot and not disturbed

It is easy to find the radio stations and not too big so it fits well on his desk next to his computer. He listens to the radio with his headphones and is very happy with the radio. Naturally, the sound is not going to be the best without headphones, but the radio is very inexpensive. Good speakers cost a lot of money.
