However, the newer version replaced the canvas lining around the outside with what appears to be a cheap nylon trim. Also, not necessarily the manufacturers fault, but it came with one very jumpy american cockroach. Whether you would like a new american cockroach pet friend or not, is up to you, but we would prefer not to receive unexpected bugs.

It is the perfect size for the space I needed to put it in and looks nice but I imagine that the cheap materials will cause it to wear more quickly. Like I said, the size is perfect and it works fine. Looks nice. And I like that the mesh bag pulls out of the hamper. There was also no assembly required which is always appreciated.

It fell apart on the first day...my husband wears jeans and it was rather heavy when he picked it up. I ordered him a heavy duty mesh bag on eBay that is used to carry sports equipment and it works great.

I like the aesthetics of the linen look inside of the outer darker brown. I do move the entire hamper when I need to and it is sturdy and has been fine for the last 6 months of heavy use. I saw this item in store before purchasing online.

Was purchasing because I thought it looked like the Mainstays version I already had. The quality is not the same nor does it look anything like the picture advertised for the Whitmore Easycare Hamper. The color is more of a brown, and the liner is not the same fabric as the picture advertised.

DJM - 5 out of 5 stars review3/4/2020I use rags/hand towels to clean my kitchen [as opposed to paper towels]. This hamper works great for throwing the hand towels in after I've used them. The thing I really like about this is that I can throw the mesh part of it in the washing machine with the towels to clean it also.
