Lip brush makes a great eyeliner smudge brush.

I have purchased many quality smudge brushes in the past and they are simply too harsh to use around my sensitive eyes. The hair they use for their lip brush in this kit does a great job at gently softening harsh lines from pencil eyeliner without causing irritation, just make sure to use an eyeliner pencil that gives you time to smudge before it sets. Another great surprise in this kit is the angled brow brush which is stiff enough to do a good job at applying brow powder. The handles on these brushes are well sized for travel.

    Great Deal

I died when I saw this! 11 brushes for... (I think they had it for 10 when I got it) My favorite brush inside is the eyelash and eyebrow groomers. They make your lashes look so full! I use ever one of these, and no need for all the other brushes. Even comes with a nice case for those of you who like to travel!

You get what you pay for...

Not all of the brushes in this set are terrible. The concealer and eyeshadow brushes are soft and durable, and the brow/lash comb are okay but that's just a piece of plastic. The blush and powder brushes are the worst. They're tough and wiry, and usually just end up raking the makeup over my face, instead of blending it. They also shed like crazy. The spongetip applicator is too small and thin for the handle it's glued on to so it pokes rather than dabs or smudges. The lip brush is essentially just a cheap paint brush -- and yes, there is a difference. Overall, I'm not surprised with the quality based on what I paid for them, but the only one I'd recommend them to would be a little girl playing dress-up.
