So far, so good!

Bought this unit to replace a kerosene heater that we had for twenty years. The vast majority of reviews for the WK95C6C were positive and glowing (pun intended!). Brought the unit home and set up was quick and easy. Let the wick soak for the required 60 minutes and voila the unit worked perfectly! Heat the living room, dining room, den and kitchen without a problem! Quick and easy to use. If this unit can last at or near the time my old heater lasted, then I will have found a true value!

Dynaglo heater

Bought this heater less than a month ago and not it's not working. Wick want light. Changed the battery, still nothing. Piece of crap.

    Runs better on today's ULS Highway diesel

    I used to put kerosene in this one but research lead me to the MSDS which show's kerosene is 500PPM sulfur and that diesel is only 15PPM so I changed over to diesel (without telling my wife) which is way cheaper and my wife asked me what I did to make it not smell anymore. I told her about my research and sneaky switch of fuel and she was surprised. Keeps our 25ft. X 22ft. garage nice a warm and the ceiling fan makes it even better.

    this heater sure cranks out the heat

    this heater works great. it would be nice to be able to control the heat better on lower settings. and I would be nice if the price of kerosene would come down to a more reasonable price. but yes I would recommend this heater to anyone that wants to stay warm. it cranks out the heat and is very simple to use. also do buy the additives to put in the can of kerosene with scents like pine, honeysuckle, lilac, and etc. makes the house smell wonderfull. much better than the kerosene smell.

    First non electric heater

    Well only had unit for about 3 days now,however,it was easy to assemble not much required,directions very easy to follow.I have only owned electric type heaters until now,well until I got last months energy bill.I am so far extremely pleased with your product,should have gotten one a lot sooner.Very simple to use,and does the job very well.

    Great Heat for the money!

    A great Kerosene heater that works very well when used with the proper fuel. Some slight odor when turning off, should be expected with this type of heater, as with all kerosene heaters, wick type. A great heater for the price, puts out plenty of heat, and burns 8-9 hours per tank of fuel.

    Style & price..

    Got it Saturday but have not used it yet..Like the style , loved the pric.. Only problem so far, we didn't get the carrying handle..It was not in the box..Hope this will be resolved very soon..Stay tuned..

    Good Unit

    Purchased this unit as a backup heating source for our home. We used kerosene heaters years ago to heat a country home because we had an electric heating system. At the time kerosene was about $1.50/gal, but now at $6.00/gal it probably wouldn't compete cost wise with electric heat. This unit has all the features of my older unit and the only negative would be that the fuel filler hole could be a little bigger as it is had to see the liquid when filling with fuel.

    Good hearter

    Very pleased we have used it most of this winter , gives off alot of heat, only problem I have had is back side of wick Flickrs alot, I clean wick after 2 days of using.

    Simple to use!

    I bought this Heater not long ago as tempatures were dipping down into the single digits. This unit heats up the whole entire main floor within an hours time. I have to turn it off for a short while to cool down for a bit.

    A great heater at a great price!

    I have roughly twenty years' experience operating kerosene heaters such as this one. As a child, we supplemented the furnace in our log cabin with the good old Corona 22-DK, which is still sought-after despite its lack of a protective cage over the top. Other than burning out the ignitor, and the difficulty finding replacement wicks locally, I still use this beast of a heater. Several years ago, we replaced the Corona with the Dyna-Glo RMC-95-C, which is still a great heater and easy to find replacement wicks are at Walmart and Home Depot. Unfortunately, the burner is starting to wear out after several years of constant, round-the-clock operation over ten CT winters, and I had to give our spare RMC-95-C back to my mother to use in the hou...

    Easy setup and use

    I both this two months ago, backup heat for emergency usage. The unit was very easy to setup. Use...very easy once I learned how to use the electric start...press the pedal down about 1/4 of the way, wait for the coil to glow before pressing pedal down all the way down. With wick design it is a no brainer on where to set it for proper usage - start at max and adjust downward a couple times in the first 10-15 minutes and your done. We have used during two power outages and in basement 7 times, heats the area from 55 to 65 in less than two hours.

    Great backup heat source.

    This kerosene heater puts out great heat. I am surprised at the negative reviews, this heater has lowered my fuel costs and has kept my house warmer than the natural gas alone. The primary reason I got this is as an emergency heater for times when the house system is out of service like we experienced during super storm Sandy. Currently (2/18/15) kerosene costs $3.50 a gallon in Philadelphia. I saw one negative review stating kerosene is $10.00 a gallon, I have used kerosene heaters for 30 years and have never seen the price that high. One gallon lasts me 9 hours of awesome heat.     I Love, Love, Love this heater!!!!

    I had to borrow a friend's Dyna-Glo kerosene heater during the past year. I loved the way this heater worked and just everything about it. Then I decided it was time to buy one myself. I went to another store and purchased a different brand. What a mistake that was! The other heater smelled terrible. I had not had it even three weeks when the emergency shut-off button broke. I returned it to the store and received a replacement. I had the second heater about two weeks when the auto-light feature stopped working and I had to light it manually. Then the emergency shut-off button broke AGAIN. I had had it. I took it back and got my money back. I was searching online for a Dyna-Glo kerosene heater when I came across the one at Sam's Club. Yea!!...

    great heater

    easy to use and fill, fuel lasts a long time on low all day it puts out a hot heat that covers a lot of space very useful on cold days to keep electric bill down

    Dyna Heater

    When I got this I do not like the handle, because you get one side in and then the other side will pop out of where it was, it just does not have a good handle.

    Good secondary heat source, bad ignition

    The heater works well, except the battery operated starter seems to be placed a bit too far back to ignite the wick, and use of a match is necessary for lighting it.
