    Easy set up

    I bought two expansion units to go with my phone system. They are super easy to set up. Just plug the base/recharger into an electric socket. Put the handset into the main base unit for a few seconds so that it is recognized. Voila, it's ready to use. Reception is good, even in a large house.

    Excellent Product

    I had a few doubts about this purchase---because there were some negative reviews about the phone system I planned on using it with. I admit, the instructions for the DS6511-2 phone system were not easy to understand, but after a few tries [with the help from Customrt Suport] I "got it right", and the system and this phone do an excellent job. It is so good not to have to search the entire house to find my cell phone when a call comes in. As many of us know---a cell phone seems able to "hide" itself quite often.

    Good value & easy to add

    I was impressed with the ease at which this was to add to my existing pair I recently bought. Just charge them fully and put them on the master unit wait for the beep/tone (about 60 seconds) and it called it self unit 3. I like the "kiss (keep is simple stupid)" principle in things I buy and this is one of them.

    Seems to be a good phone

    My only issue with this phone is it doesn't always connect with my cell phone. Its 50/50 but all you have to do is get on your cell phone and push reconnect.

    Great phone but phone directory needs work

    All works as expected except for phone directory. I downloaded my mobile phone directory to the VTech. Problem is, my mobile phone does not require a "1" before the area code when dialing, but my home service does. The VTech allows you to add a "1" before storing a new contact from the CID database, but does not allow that when editing an entry in the directory. Must reenter the entire number preceded with the "1" manually. Very tedious.

    This Vtech Handset for DS6502 with connect to cell works great with my LG Smartphone. My cellphone has to stay in a Wilson Cradle Booster because cellphone reception is not very good in my home, but with this Vtech Handset I can talk on my cellphone all over my house and even outside with no dropped calls. That makes me very happy with my Vtech Product.

    Vetch phone

    This product does not come close to my old tech. But if you have a cell phone you might want to look at this. The reason I gave it a 3 have only had this a couple of weeks, but battery life is not long enough for my use. My father had a stroke and can't be getting up to get phone.
