- 5 out of 5 stars review8/25/2012I have had an InstantHot from InSinkErator in a previous house and used it every day for soups, tea,hot chocolate, sauces, oat meal and to warm up my Thermos coffee pot so that the coffee stays hot longer.. When I went out to purchase one online, I found out that all the reviews of the current model said that it was not reliable. So, I searched around, and found out Quick&Hot from WasteKing with excellent reviews. Walmart had the best price for the chrome model ($165). Shipping was reasonable and it arrived ahead of the promised date. After using it for one week, it works fine. The faucet is insulated, a great idea, since it carries boiling water. I have it set for delivery at 190 F.
Love it (after one week)
LoneEmperor - 5 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase2/9/2014I bought this one because of all the good reviews. I have only had it for one week, but so far I love it. I did add the filter which was recommended to extend the life of the tank. I ordered it from Home Depot. Our plumber had to go get extra parts that weren't included in the hot water tank supplies. Walmart price was good too.
Attractive and easy to use.
Dubwinter - 5 out of 5 stars review2/19/2011For the price I did not expect this kind of quality. We had a smaller unit purchased from a major home box store, which lasted about 2 yrs. It was at least twice the price of this unit. The Sam's Club product is far superior. Fairly easy to install.
Loving Instant Hot Water
WWDotOriginally posted onsamsclub.com - 5 out of 5 stars review4/14/2014This is an excellent product. I have had one for years and it works perfectly but I changed my faucet to a different color metal so I got a new hot water dispenser that matched the new faucet finish and gave the old one to a relative. I use this dispenser all the time and it is much safer than heating water in a microwave, which can sometimes get overheated and explode hot water and burn people. This dispenser gets the water hot enough for tea or instant hot chocolate or coffee. The tank is big enough that I never run out of hot water even if I am filling a pot to get a head start on cooking something on the stove.
hot water dispenser
seattliteOriginally posted onsamsclub.com - 5 out of 5 stars review2/3/2011It looks better....It runs quieter.....It performs better than the Insinkerator Hot 1 I had....I've owned several Insinkerator brand hot water dispensers over the years and I am EXTREMELY impressed with the Quick and Hot! BUY! BUY! BUY!
Hot Water AND Quality
Gopir8sOriginally posted onsamsclub.com - 5 out of 5 stars review10/26/2009We shopped around for exactly what we wanted for quite some time and eventually found it on the Sam's website and the price was great. Could not be happier with product and service. Nice quality.
Very Happy with Purchase
SHaskinsOriginally posted onsamsclub.com - 5 out of 5 stars review11/12/2013We purchased this to replace an Insinkerator that died, our 2nd one that did. I thought we would try a different brand since I wasn't happy with the other and this one looked better for a lot better price. My husband installed it and it wasn't easy as fitting were different from the others but he finally got it. After about 3 months it started dripping so we called the company, they sent out a brand new unit. This one is working fine!
Great product
bmccOriginally posted onsamsclub.com - 4 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchase10/30/2012We had a HOT-1 for the last 5 years. It had a very small reservoir and it eventually corroded through and leaked under our sink. So we decided to upgrade to the Water King. It was a bit more difficult to install. The instructions say its all done with 1/4 inch copper quick connect fittings. But when you open the box it has compression fittings and the inlet line is 3/8". So I had to make an extra trip to the hardware store to get what I needed. Now that it is installed it looks great. Heats up fast and since it has a larger reservoir you can actually make a couple of cups of coffee back to back and they will both be hot. Its only been in for a couple of days so I can't give any indication as to how it will hold up over time.
A nice improvement over our previous instant hot
Hex92 - 4 out of 5 stars review11/10/2012Replaced a 5-year-old 750W Waste King combo from Costco when the faucet clogged. Close to same price for better produce. Tank was quick replacement; faucet was improved, but the cold-water inlet's (better) hose didn't connect to the quick-connect inline screen coupling. Found coupling, plus better inline filter, so replaced 1/4" OD copper with included hoses.
Needed parts to connect faucet to tank and source
MikeTheNotPlumber - 4 out of 5 stars review3/3/2011When my old "instant hot" stopped working I searched for a lower cost alternative. After researching the alternatives I decided to try this. The Sam's online price and delivery was the best. Installation was easy since I reused the basic connections from my old Insinkerator unit. Once I understood that a momentary drip was normal due to heat expansion after each use I became satisfied with the operating characteristics. Although I sacrificed some quality, I am very pleased with my choice and recommend it to anyone looking for a lower cost alternative to units costing hundreds of dollars.
Great value!
