I don't normally write reviews... but I'm in love

I am highly impressed with the quality of this chair for the reasonable price. I was concerned about purchasing it online and not being able to see and feel it ahead of time (for both quality and aesthetic reasons) but I have nothing but good things to say about it. It took less than 10 minutes to put together and the only tools necessary to do so came in the box. Instructions were easy, a ten year old could have pulled it off just as quickly. When I was first pulling the parts out, I couldn't decide if it was going to be comfortable or not. The seat and back rest appear to be made of a bunch of layers of that basketball jersey type mesh (although you can tell there is foam underneath). Nice to look at, terrible to sit on

First of all, the chair is beautiful. It has a great look and it is something you will enjoy showing off to others. But that's where the good ends and the bad begins. It is possibly the most uncomfortable chair ever produced. It leans you forward to the point that you almost need a belt buckle to feel secure in the seat. It is impossible to lean back in the chair unless you're a professional contortionist. The seat itself is not cushioned at all so your behind will be very sore after about 30 minutes. Forget water boarding. The CIA could stick terrorist suspects in this thing for a day as a new form of "enhanced interrogation" and the dude would be singing like a bird in no time. Oh, and it squeaks non-stop.

    would love to find weight limit in all chairs!

    I like this chair but hope what I have read on other reviews of this chair on this site is true on the 250 lbs. weight limit. The chair does have a metal base, a very good sign of strength and durability. The chair is what I was looking for, low cost, armless, small wheeled base, and STURDY. The chair is comfy and was purchased for a sewing chair. I wish it were required in all specs to clearly list the weight limits of all chairs. Some chairs have the info listed, others one has to dig for and others, as in this chair don't have the weight listed anyplace.     nice chair

    The chair's appearance is really nice. I like the color I chose (coffee). I was afraid it would be too brown but wasn't. I would call it a light brown It is comfortable enough for my occasional use but not if I had to sit in it all day. It was very easy for a grandma and 5 year old grandson to assemble in a short time.

    Great desk chair

    Bought this for my daughter's bedroom desk. Got the green one to match her bedding and the color is bright and fun. Actually received the chair with arms, but ordered the armless. Dtr wanted arms on and they're ok, but I think black plastic arms look cheap. Other than that the chair is a great value and comfortable.

    Poorly shipped/disappointed

    Chair looks okay, but it was a miracle all the hardware made it during shipping. The washers and screws had been dumped into the box. No bag was found inside to indicate the hardware had ever been secured. Very disappointed in how chair arrived.

    Great, if you want to be in a tilt position

    The chair had only one problem for me, and that is, it has a tilt position. I could not get comfortable after putting it together (which was a piece of cake, all by myself) because for me, it seem as though I just might slide right out of it. I thought maybe I put it together wrong, but clearly I didn't because everything has a place for itself. I had to take it back, and continue my search :( But, that was the only problem I encounter with this chair.

    KNOW THE DIMENSIONS!!! i got it in green

    I didn't think the dimensions of the seat of the chair would matter! but it does!!! I was looking for a chair that would be simple, sleek, and modern. When I got it, it was a bit jumbo-sized compared to my simple, sleek, white desk. That is the reason why I give it 4 stars instead.     Very nice chair for the money

    This chair is comfortable, goes together easily and seems to be well made. The fabric is mesh, which you can't really tell from the photos. Not my favorite fabric, but that won't stop me from buying two more chairs. Great value!

    HAVE SOME ONE HELP YOU!

    Once assembled, these are sturdy and comfortable desk/computer chairs. However, I must say (my own opinion here), these chairs are anything but easy to assemble! I ordered two of them; in assembling the first one, instructions for assembling the back rest were lacking. That is a two person job! Some one must hold the back rest in place WHILE you attempt to screw them on from the back. The holes do not necessarily match exactly. I found it difficult to do alone, but I did succeed. My second assembly was going better - that is, until I discovered that the pneumatic "pillar" of the chair simply was not working.     Looks great, sturdy and comfortable. After reading other reviews I was concerned about the issue of the seating feeling like it tilts forward, but I don't have that problem. The instruction sheet almost got thrown out with the packaging, so keep an eye out for it.

    Forward tilt, difficult to stay in the chair

    The way the seat is designed, it slopes forward so you feel like you are slipping out of the chair, especially coupled with the slippery material. I would have expected the seat to be slightly angled back so you don't fall forward. The back support is too close to the seat so you cannot sit properly with your spine and tailbone off the seat. For this price I expected more.

    Good chair, but over-curved back rest!

    It's perfect for my 9 year old. I like everything about it, except that the back of the chair is too curved inwards and stiff. It is ok for a child's small back, but nit that comfortable for an adult.
