Just what I'd been looking for!

I have been looking at every day dinnerware for over a year now. In every other set I have seen out there , there was always one piece I didnt like. One set I liked the plate, not the bowls.. Another set I liked the bowls but the mugs sucked and so on. This BH&G set is simply AWESOME! Every piece is wonderful. I love the handmade look of them. Good sized and great looking. And it was a plus that it comes with a year subscription for BH&G magazine as well! Everytime I use these plates, I just fall in love with them again and again! You might want to buy online though. Price at store was 10.00 more per set than online. Even still, I didn't mind spending the extra... Don't hesitate if your on the fence.,. They look SO much better in person the...

Plates are poorly finished and do not match the other dishes. Will be returning them to the store.

    Great Dinnerware

    Beautiful dinnerware. Great for casual dining and elegant for formal dining as well.

    I love these dishes . The colors match with my kitchen colors very well.. It was the only set I could find in these colors and price range that I liked well enough to buy.. But they have exceeded my expectations . I really, really like them . The bowls are very large, could be used as small serving bowls.. They do take up more room in my cabinet, so be prepared to move things around a little if your cabinet is already full.

    More Beautiful than I expected!

    Because of recent marriage we chose to let go of each our previous dinnerware and purchase new set that would reflect our tase together. These dishes were much more than we expected from the picture online. The scroll looks like it has been "stenciled" on. Salad plate is perfect to use for sandwich and chips as it is larger than usual. No more using paper plates for lunch! The bowl is larger than usual bowls from other sets. The contrast from salad plate and dinner plate looks beautiful when setting the table. Looking forward to using them with our family and friends at this Thanksgiving dinner as well as using them for many years to come. This set goes from casual to very elegant! Hoping Better Homes comes out with accessory pieces soon!

    great plates for any occassion

    I love these plate just moved into an apartment with girlfriends they are perfect to go with most decor. They are not too heavy for being stoneware. I absolutley love them great deal!

    JUST WHAT I WANTED, EVEN FOUND SOME EXTRA PLATES AT THE STORE. I AM REALLY EXCITED ABOUT MY BETTER HOME AND GARDEN ONE YEAR SUBCRIPTION AS A FREE GIFT. JUST RECEIVED MY CHRISTMAS ISSUE!     I really like this set of dinnerware. My only complaint is that the pattern on them is not centered. It looks off. If you don't mind that, then these are great.
