Amazing piece for the price

I have been looking for a jewelry armoire for years and didn't want to pay the over $200, which was what I saw in department stores, antique stores, and online at eBay and other discount places. I tried to find this in the Walmart stores, but none had it in stock, so I took a chance, based on another review, and bought it online. I figured I'd return it if it was not good. What a tremendous value! It was exceptionally easy to assemble - 4 legs and the lid - and all the hardware (screws, washers) worked beautifully. No issues with the assembly. The 5 drawers are very solid, nice lining, and the side panels hold 24 necklaces - each side has 6 double hooks. Poor quality workmanship! As I was attaching the legs to the base, the base fell apart! I was wondering why the directions didn't tell how to attach the base to the main part of the armoire, then I noticed 4 small globs of glue (one per side) that were dried up and obviously didn't work in holding together the 2 parts. I tried straightening some bent staples on some masonite (?) little blocks and tapping them in with a tack hammer and the whole base came unglued at the corners! I would have returned this in a minute, but I bought it for my 87 yr old mother's birthday and she doesn't want to part with it. My husband is good at woodworking, so he's going to work on it and make the base sturdy. Hopefully the rest of it will hold together! The ...

    Not bad, but no earring hooks

    The jewelry amoire is made with solid wood and looks lovely. The drawers are are lined but if you pull a little too far the drawer will come out. There is not "stop" for the drawer. Also there is nothing to hang earrings. Since I have other earring stands I didn't miss it but if you own a lot of earrings this is not for you. Would recommend otherwise.

    Jewelry case

    I think the price was good. I wish it was available in more colors. The mirror doesn't really serve a purpose because of the height. Very easy to assemble.

    A little cheaply made and price a little high

    Cheaply made had some broken parts when I got it. I think for the quality it should be priced around 30.00 - 40.00 no more. Not real tall either most of the time when putting stuff in it I will just sit down on floor as bending over to put or take stuff in it or out of it is uncomfortable due to its height.

    Not the finest quality

    Two of the legs were cracked upon arrival, very dissapointed as it was a special Christmas gift to my grandaughter who lives out of state. I have one similar purchased elsewhere that I have had for 20years and moved several times without problem. This one arrived damaged.

    Not good,product has several problims

    When i took it out of the box a part that holds the legs fell off in my hand < only glued and not much of it>.I had to put metal 90 degree parts to hold the legs in place,when igot it put togeather it was not glued straigh on the base.I would not buy anther.

    Broken

    We received this armoire broken. One of the drawers pulls was missing so we couldn't use that drawer. The little wooden pieces inside that hold the drawers in were broken, a the drawers just pulled right out. It only comes with six necklace holders and I needed more than that. We brought it back to Walmart as soon as we out it together and took it apart again. I thought for $90 with tax and shipping I would get something better. I wouldn't waste your time or money.

    I would not recommend this product. After attaching the legs, my wife moved it to where she wanted it. As she tried to shift it, the glue holding the base in place pulled apart. I have already returned it.

    This jewelry box is unsteady and you must connect it to the wall with the screw provided in the box or it will fall over. However, it is inexpensive in comparison to others. Therefore, it may be worth the money. You get what you pay for.
