Returns Policy
All merchandise purchased from Walmart.com may be returned either to a store or by mail within 90 days of receiving it, unless otherwise noted below. Additional guidelines are also noted below.

Returns Exceptions
Here are the exceptions to our general Returns Policy:
Oversize Items
Some heavy or large items that are identified as oversize on their item pages may be returned to a store or by freight shipping. Under some circumstances, you may be charged for return shipping. To return an item by freight, please email Customer Service. They will also be able to inform you of any return shipping costs.
Damaged or Defective Items
If an item you receive is damaged or defective you can return the item to a Wal-Mart store or return it by mail for a full refund. If returning the item via mail, please follow the procedures listed in Return an Item by Mail, choose the appropriate return reason code from the dropdown and choose the option of refund or replacement.
Error-Related Refunds
If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for any applicable shipping and gift-wrapping charges. Returning Products Containing Hazardous Materials
Due to safety hazards, special rules pertain to products that use flammable liquids or gases. In most cases, you will not be able to return the item through the mail.
Keep your original original packaging for at least the first 90 days after purchase. Some returns might require an item be placed in its original container; otherwise, special ORM-D packaging from the post office will be needed. (A postal worker can assist you.)
If you need to return a product that might fall into the hazardous materials category, you can check under the department of the item you purchased in our Returns Guidelines by Department section under the department of the item you purchased. If you aren?t sure which category applies to you, please email Customer Service for assistance.
Return or Exchange an Item Return or Exchange an Item in a Store You can replace, exchange, or get credit for an item immediately in a store, pending product availability. Please see the Returns Policy section above for exceptions.

To return or exchange an item by mail, follow these instructions.
If you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective item, you can
request a replacement by mail by following these instructions. The replacement item will be sent to the original "ship to" address upon receipt of the original item at our Returns Center, pending product availability.
Credit for Items Received as Gifts
You have two options for returning a gift that came from Walmart.com:
Return the Gift to a Wal-Mart Store
An associate will issue an immediate credit to the original payment method or provide a store credit for the cost of the item and the sales tax, if applicable.
Return or Replace the Gift by Mail
When you return a gift by mail, the cost of the item and the sales tax, if applicable, will be credited to the original purchaser's payment method when we receive the item. A gift you received may be replaceable by mail, if the item is damaged, defective or incorrect. Please follow these instructions to begin the return or replacement process. You cannot exchange a gift for a different item by mail. Please visit a store for all exchanges. |
