It seemed that I could not find anything in the size and colors I wanted for under $250. I followed another reviewer's advise and bought 3 of them. Put two next to each other in the bedroom and look great becuase the rubber back keeps them together (do not shift, move av=way). The other one I put in her bathroom, which helped me tied the rooms together. The colors are bright but versatile. It can match limitless color schemes.I do not know how well it would take washing. The shag it's a bit thinner than I'd like...But still really good quality in the price range 09/01/2012

I got it for my foyer (I didn't want to invest too much money in purple, because I wasn't sure whether I would like it). I do like it and I suspect it would have been very difficult to find a high quality rug in this color. I got the larger version and placed it in front of a mirrored dark chest. Every single person who walks through the door loves it and comments about how it's reflected in all of the mirrors of the chest. Yes, even men - people love it! It's hard to rate, though, because it's hard to rate it objectively - if you really love the color, you'll probably like it. But if a soft, cushy, plush rug is what you are looking for and the shade doesn't matter much, you might be somewhat disappointed. 08/13/2012
