Rated 4 out of 5 by commercesd Low to the ground, but comfortable and functional I have a very small space and had been toying with a number of options for temporary guest overnight stays. I'd wanted a nice chair, but was reluctant to get one because of the space. I also really wanted to have something that a guest could sleep on in a pinch. I had considered a foam topper and an ottoman that folds out into a bed - but wasn't that wild about those ideas.Then I happened upon these chair beds and knew this would be a better choice. I was a little reluctant at first because the ad kept referring to "teens" - but then I figured many teens are adult size and I was right -- it works fine.These chairs are far more versatile than a topper or inflatable bed. After looking at and nearly ordering a number of inflatable beds, I am glad I made this choice instead. I do not need to store this anywhere (there is nowhere to do this anyway) and it can sit out in the open and be used as a chair, recliner - so that you can lie on it much like a chaise lounge - and it also lays flat for a bed very easily. Another nice option is that it has coasters on the bottom so that it can be switched (literally flipped) so that the back of the "chair" is higher if you like.I've tried it out and would have no trouble sleeping on it. It is quite hard, but I like a hard bed. I didn't find it uncomfortably hard and when I put a topper on it that softened it up quite a bit. It is also long enough - longer than some of the roll-top types that are actually junior chairs. I would caution anyone to check the measurements and ensure that it will fit the kind of person who will be using it comfortably.I am glad I read the reviews so that I already knew how to open and adjust it. It requires NO assembly at all. When you bring it forward, you'll hear a click eventually. Keeping in mind that it is VERY low to the floor, it should work well for anyone who wants a casual chair that can be used in a variety of ways. The only thing I would change is making it at least double or triple the height - but it is certainly workable for the average person who does not have a problem getting onto the floor.I covered mine with a beige covering to keep it nicer and because I wanted a lighter color. For the money, I am very pleased. Also, I cannot believe how FAST it was delivered -- just two days after ordering it - it is here! Therefore, if you're not in that much of a hurry - don't bother to pay for shipping. Of course, it depends on your location. I am in Chicago. 11/30/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1stcoasthipmamafounder Exactly what I was looking for I bought this chair to replace the very comfy glider couch in my sons room since we're having another baby and I wanted to move it to the nursery. It is the perfect color, I love how it can unfold into a twin size bed for when we have company (grandma loves to have sleep overs with her grandson when she visits), and although it does sit a little low to the ground, it's perfect for my 4 year old when we read stories to him at bedtime (I'm 5'0 and my husband is 6'2 and we can both comfortably sit with him next to us), and even being 8 months pregnant I can easily sit down on it and get up off of it with no help :) 10/02/2012

I could not find another big box stores that had anything like this for the price or quality. We purchased it for our child's room as she still wants to share the bunk beds with her big sister at night, and doesn't really need a bed unless we have a visitor. Its big enough that I can sit down and she can sit next to me - or on my lap and we're both comfortable. Its low to the ground, so I wouldn't offer it to an elderly member. We thought it was simple to maneuver, but not so simple that the kids are flipping it all the time from a bed to a chair. Seems to be on a spring mechanism. I may get a slipcover for it, since the material is a soft faux-suede and clean up could get tricky. I would definitely recommend this product to others. Ours is the green colour and not "electric lime green" as the picture shows, more subtle. 09/27/2012

I gave it a 4 stars because the cushions take a while to get their shape back after someones sits on it for a while. 09/06/2012
