    Item Description

Keep your garden neat and trim your shrubs with ease with the Black & Decker LPP120 Pole Saw. This lightweight extendable pole saw features a center extension for long reach. It allows for a pole length of 6.5' or 10' and an overhead reach of up to 14'. This lightweight pole saw has an 8" cutting bar and chain that allows you to cut branches up to 6" in diameter. Combine that with an in-line power-head for easy maneuverability and visibility between branches, and you have yourself one powerful and precise machine. This cordless pole saw runs on an included 20V lithium ion battery, which will give you enough power to get the job done right the first time. Furthermore, the unit disassembles for easy storage and transportation and includes a blade guard, wrench, carry bag, oil bottle and battery charger, so you can properly store and maintain this machine when it's not in use.

    Customer Product Reviews

    Rated 4.5 out of 5★ by 11reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Very functional with no need for a power cord Does it's job with much less cost than a gas powered pole saw. Battery is adequate but if you have a lot of tree limbs that need trimming like I do you'll have to charge it again and wait until the next day to wait for the lithium power pack to charge up fully. It still beats having to drag a power cord around the yard. 06/12/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Good saw, poor battery life We were careful to read the reviews before purchasing this saw. The predominant complaints seemed to be about the short battery life. As a result, I didn't expect to get a lot of cutting done on one charge.I was hoping for at least the 15-20 minutes that appeared to be the norm. In our case, 10 minutes is all I'm seeing. I suspect that the people getting an hour out of their battery are either cutting very small branches or that the hour is not really continuous cutting. When the battery is fully charged, the saw cuts very well. It's somewhat heavy (but given that I can't use it more than 10 minutes at a time, this isn't really an issue :) ). It's also awkward at full extension, but so are all pole saws.At full extension it also feels somewhat flimsy but since you just let the weight of the saw head do all the cutting, you don't need to worry about bearing down on it (and, in fact, you aren't supposed to). Just let the chain do it's job and use the pole to control it. If you're trying to use your arms to do the cutting, your chain is probably getting dull.If you plan on doing big jobs with this saw, have a LOT of spare batteries available (a spare will cost you around $40 to $60). With a 4 hour recharge time, you'll only get 20-30 minutes a day with a single battery.Even with the poor battery performance, I like this saw. 10/25/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Does the job! I don't think this was ever meant to be a professional tool, but it works great for the average home yard. I did a lot of pruning..more than I wanted to clean up...and still had plenty of battery. I let the weight of the saw do the cutting and the blade is still good and sharp. I plan to get a lot of use out of this tool. Great for neighbors' limbs overhanging your fence. 09/16/2013
Rated 4 out of 5★ by Great tool for the right job! I purchased this to trim some small limbs on trees around my house. The purchase was made after a comparison to two similarly priced alternatives --- a manual pole trimmer (saw and rope lopping shear), and a corded electric pole trimmer. In this use case, this tool performs very well. I am more than satisfied.I think in some reviews of this item, folks are comparing this $130-ish tool with a $600 Stihl professional gas powered pole chainsaw. If this is what you are looking for, you will not find it for $130, and you will be disappointed. 08/07/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Sure beats dragging a 100 foot extension cord behind you to use a regular electric trimmer. 02/05/2013
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Exactly what we were looking for! Reviewed several on the internet. This one received good rating. Definitely made a good choice! 06/17/2014
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Great addition to lawn equipment Cuts through branches like butter, battery last a long time. 04/27/2012
Rated 4 out of 5★ by said 14 ft It said in the description that it was 14 ft but that is not the case. It is only 9 ft and extends with your arms to 14 ft. Very deceptive. the saw works good, however won't reach where I want it to! 11/08/2013
