I bought two of these for my 3 year old and 5 year old as Christmas presents. The girls love them and have played with them daily in the last couple of weeks. There are so many free apps to download that we have not paid for a single one so far. There are several great game and educational apps that are already pre-loaded on the tablet when you purchase it. We have basic internet at home and have had no problems at all hooking up with the the tablets. As a matter of fact, we have not had a single problem with either of them. There is a mommy mode that allows parent total control over what their children see and use while playing on the tablet. This was what sold me on it in the first place. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for quality, reliability, and safety in a tablet for their children.

Handy little tablet

My kids love the DreamTab! The tablet offers tons of cool preloaded content which includes the DreamWorks ProStudio apps. My eight year old has been able to create a short film using the creativity apps to include video he shot with the built-in camera and his favorite music. It is neat to see how much fun he has using apps that are not Minecraft (smile). Although, my son does play Minecraft, Sonic Jump, Subway Surfer and other high graphic games with the DreamTab. My daughter likes to watch movies and draw pictures. The animation tools in particular are very kid-friendly. The stylus is smooth on the screen and can be used with the preloaded apps, as well as the additional learning apps I have downloaded from Google Play. My daughter can practice her letters for kindergarten. I like how easy it was to set up and customize with all my children's favorite apps, music and videos, especially since it has 16GB of total internal storage. Plus, I use a micro SD card for all their movies and to download music. The DreamTab also comes with really cute utility apps that allow my son to check the time and weather in other countries. In addition, the tablet has nabi Konnect, which gives my children access to parentally controlled email and text messages. We are able to communicate safely through the DreamTab and my phone. The tablet has Time Controls, so that I can monitor and manage each of my children's nabi time. The DreamTab has provided us with so many hours of safe and fun learning and play, and we are very happy with the tablet. My husband even plays Candy Crush in Parent Mode when the kids are asleep.

A Big Hit!

We have taken the nabi DreamTab on long road trips, on plane rides and to doctor's appointments, without any problems. The DreamTab keeps the kids entertained for hours! The only times WiFi is needed is during initial set up, to download apps, to perform the Over-The-Air update and for apps that stream, such as Fooz Kids apps. This is the same with all Android devices. The majority of apps preloaded on the tablet work without WiFi, plus I have downloaded apps from the nabi App Zone, Google Play and Amazon Appstore that do not require WiFi to play. I have also downloaded movies and YouTube videos to the SD card to watch when WiFi is unavailable. We love the DreamTab!
