Thanks for contacting. Depends on the thickness of your sheet protectors. In general, the Bag Resealer works on plastic and aluminum material. For any other information, please feel free to contact iTouchless 1-800-660-7978 or email orders@itouchless.com.

If would try it out first. The sealing element gets pretty hot. It may be too hot for a sheet protector.

Once sealed they are generally permanently sealed, depending on the plastic type. Most plastics are the type that just melt together to form the seal and therefore are permanently bonded together. Some plastics only fuse at the surface and can be torn apart after sealing.

can this product be used to seal sheet protectors with a fabric swatch inside?

Hello Elsie, after resealing the bag, you may reopen the bag by pinching both sides with each hand and pull apart. Exactly as if you were opening a bag of chips or cookies.

Depends on the bag.  Some bags are thin enough to where you can just pull it apart but with some other bags, you may have to use scissors and cut below the seal.

This product will work on any plastic bags.

Yes, it will.  I&#39;ve used it on lettuce and it seals fine.  However, it didn&#39;t really stop it from going bad much sooner than if left open.

would this work on bags of lettuce? I always end up loosing so much lettuce when I buy it

I used to have one of these a long time ago and just loved it. It's taking a bit to get used to it again but the price for 2 of them was to hard to pass up.  They used 2 AA batteries to operate and saves many things from getting stale.

Good investment for me i can now keep things longer and fresher and dont have to come up with inventive ways to save half used products. For example my bacon packages..i only use a little at a time but now i can seal the bag after every use with no worries of it going bad.

I had one of these years ago and missed it so much. We always had many open bags of chips and rubber bands or clips do not really keep them fresh. The product is wonderful but be sure to read the instructoins. Also, don't press too hard or you will cut the bag.

Perfect for sealing snack bags

For its size, I wasn't expecting much but I am pleasantly satisfied.  I use it to seal bags to keep out dust; so, I cannot speak to how it works on dealing out air.

I have been interested in this product for some time , and finally tracked it down, and purchased it. It more than meets my expectations. The magnet on the devive keeps it convenient to use, and is easy to operate. Glad I made the purchase.

Perfect for resealing open bags. Sold as a 2pk & is magnetic so it's very easy to keep one around when & where needed. Works best on never before sealed items. I used it to seal stand up pouches for my tea blend and it worked like a dream!!

I liked the product it works well but it stayed that it was a set of 2 and I only received one which was the red one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This product would not slide across the plastic bag as I expected.  It would bunch up and tear.  I could not use it.  I'm not sure why but it appeared to be due too low of a temperature at the heating element.
