Will easily hold the weight of an iPhone. Even riding very roughy trails in my RZR.

Consumer Reports gave this a high rating, and I can see why. It truly does stick to everything, including my not-perfectly-smooth dashboard. Phone goes in and out super-easily. I can plug in the charger while the phone is in the mount, too. Two knobs in two different places allow you to position this in a zillion different ways. I have a Samsung smart phone that's about 2.50"x 4.75" and it fits perfectly. There is actually a little ruler printed on the outside of the box so you can measure your phone against it BEFORE you open it up. I thought that was great, too.

This is a great product for around $20. It is easily assembled, holds the phone securely, and really stays put when installed! Worth every penny!

Works Great!

The pictures shown didn't do this mount justice. I wasn't even looking for a new phone mount, but when browsing other items and this came up as another viewed item, it caught my interest - and am glad it did. The unit is made from all plastic, yet seems to have good strength and durability. The suction cup mount works perfect on a cleaned surface and is holding strong. The amount of flexibility for deciding how to mount the phone for positioning in the car is great. The mount moves on many axis' and allows for almost any configuration for viewing the phone. Clipping the phone in holder is as easy as stated and holds securely. Releasing the phone is just as easy. I am very glad I stumbled upon this unit and replaced my old static mount for the flexibility of this one.

Although listed by Walmart only for iPhone, it has an adjustable range and fits my Samsung S4 Galaxy inside an Otterbox Defender case and it just barely fits, but works well. My wife's S4 inside the larger Otterbox Preserver case is too large. Like reviews I read, it has a great suction cup. It is also very adjustable and has easy release and tighten for putting the cell phone out and it. I have it nicely mounted on the windshield low to the dashboard. Seems very durable.

Samsung Galaxy S4 in case iOttie Car Mount

Very nice device. I am using it on my Samsung Galaxy SIII and it is jussstttt the slightest bit tight on the sides. I have a hard case on my phone. If I took the case off, it'd fit great, but I like my case! That said, the mount is ridiculously secure and I like that I can have it on the dash and not on the window and it's just as secure. I drive a '13 Escape and have it on the little visor over the LCD screen and it's not going anywhere. The adjustability is great. Another 1/8" in the width would be awesome, though. If you have a narrower phone or an iPhone this would be great, though. Even with the little drawback,, it's still the best of its kind that I've owned!
