iLuv Stereo Clock Radio with iPod Dock, White 18 24
tried to use with shuffle - disappointing Bought this item because it was advertised that it could be used with the Ipod Shuffle - but if you have anything but a first generation, you have to use the aux option and a aux cable (need to be purchased separately) and can't sit it in the 'cradle'. The sound qualify of the aux is poor, and it doesn't recharge the unit as it would if it sits in the unit itself.Setting the time and the alarm on the unit is cumbersome. 12/20/2008
iLuv Stereo Clock Radio Meets Expectations I have the white iLuv clock radio and with it's low profile, it looks nice on the bedside dresser. The remote is really handy and works well with my Gen3 ipod. Everything was included in the box and the unit continues to perform well after 2 weeks use. The sound was very good for this price range product and the controls were easy to understand. The unit has "two" alarm settings independently set and operated so that you can set one for the weekdays and one for special occassions. Overall, this is the best value for this type of system that I have found through extensive research. The only negative is the lighted display has 4 settings (off, low, medium, high), but even the low is really bright. If the display lighting was "variable", this would be the perfect unit. 12/19/2008
Old Model My daughter bought a new ipod and needed something to charge it and play music with. This model was supposed to be compatible but it was not. If you have an older model ipod and only need something to play music with average sound, this is a good choice. If you have an iphone or new ipod, keep looking.Thankfully, Wal-Mart has a great return policy and I had no problem getting my money back. 12/19/2008
I returned this product because I purchased it as a gift and discovered the recipient did not have an ipod that would fit it.Did not see anything like it in the stores. This was much better quality than what the stores were offering. 12/18/2008
