Rated 4 out of 5Â by flaca123 Decent System for the Price I bought this system because I wanted to have a speaker system for watching tv and movies, and to be able to listen to music as well. I wanted to be able to hook up my ipod in the living room where there is no computer. This system has it all in one- an ipod dock which plays songs and videos from your ipod, it plays dvds and music cds, and can deliver sound from your tv while watching regular tv or cable tv, and am/fm radio. The only way you will hear sound from regular tv on the system is if your tv has "audio out" plugs, that plug in to the "audio in" on the system. My tv that I had did not have audio out, so I could not hear tv audio out of the speakers. I could only hear sound when I played the ipod or a music cd or dvd using the system itself. I've since traded up for a bigger tv with audio out and now I can watch regular tv in surround sound if I want.The sound quality is decent,not great, but good enough that I don't feel the need to return it. The bass is OK, not super strong, but you can hear it. Obviously for $149 I did not expect super high quality sound, but it is decent for if you live in an apartment and want to hear occasional loud music or watch a movie without rocking the whole building and bothering neighbors. I think this would also be good for a bedroom, especially for a teenager/college student or someone who needs an all in one device such as this.Over all I'm satisfied with it. 02/17/2012
