I've been stocking up on meat when it's on sale so these come in very handy. I have the manual vacuum pump & it just takes a few seconds to pump out the air to make an airtight seal. And I didn't have to spend a lot of money on those vacuum sealer systems that take up room on the counter. My meat is as good as when I bought it when I use these bags to seal them in the freezer.

Exactly what I needed to keep frozen meat fresh.

These bags keeps the food frozen. You don't have to buy the expensive machine with the freezer bags. This goes with the hand held vacuum machine, Love it and easy to use. Recommend them.

Excellent frezzer bags

I have been buying the pint size vacuum freezer bags for a while now and decided to try the gallon size. They are equally as good and do make food last long being able to vacuum seal the bags. The bags can be used several times as just a little soapy water washes them and then leave in the drainboard to dry. I definitely would recommend Ziploc.

Great Food Saver

The product is great and the vacuum feature is a god send for us. Now our food doesn't spoil. We don't have to buy an expensive vacuum machine. All we do is use the little pump and the bag seals and protects our food. How wonderful. We are so thankful WalMart carries this great product.

The average household throws away $2,500 in food annually. We're saving a lot of money using these vacuum bags to keep our food fresh both in the frezer and refrigerator. They work great.

Great item

Fabulous product, have used for years. Very disappointed Ziploc has recently chosen  to cease production of these. Don't know what I'll do without them. I recently made a dish with squash I had frozen in these bags. The dish was great, texture, color & flavor excellent. As I put empty bags in the trash I saw the date I froze the squash, June 2012.

Ziploc Freezer Gallon Vacuum Bags

I have been using the Ziploc Vacuum Bags ever since they first came out. They keep meat longer and anything else that you put in them as long as you vacuum the air out before freezing. The reason I did rated the value as average was because of the shipping charges because I could not find the bags in the store.

Prooduct works as advertised

Its a shame that Walmart stores rarely have them in stock or they have either Gallons on Quart bags but not both. Why is there a problem keeping them in stock?

These are great bags for long term freezing fish

Great bags to use with handheld pump. Hard to find- I am not sure, they may be discontinuing.

Keeps food fresh

Great for freezing vegetables out of the garden, the vacuum seal is wonderful. Been using them for years. Take some tomatoes out of the freezer, and use them for sauce on an cold January day, heaven, thanks to the Ziploc bags.

Individual boxes in the shipment were damaged. Since these boxes are where the contents are stored in my kitchen I had to store the bags loose in a drawer.

THE BAGS DON'T HOLD THE SEAL FOR MORE THAN A WEEK.
I even tried sealing the pump seal and zip-lock ends with 2 inch transparent tape.
BAGS STILL LEAK AIR. THESE ARE A WASTE OF MONEY.

I think the good reviews came from people who did not wait to see how well these hold.
