Zanfel is a specially formulated wash that is clinically shown to remove urushiol, the toxin found in poison ivy, oak, and sumac from the skin and relieve itching, anytime after outbreak of the rash.
|Zanfel is a specially formulated wash (soap) for urushiol-induced contact dermatitis. Urushiol is the poison ivy, oak, and sumac toxin which triggers the body’s allergic response, causing itching and rash. The most important step in eliminating the rash is to remove urushiol from the skin. Zanfel’s unique dual-action formula works to remove urushiol after symptoms begin and provides relief of itching within seconds of washing. Zanfel is effective at any stage of the allergic reaction and often with only one wash. The rash will begin to subside within hours if the reaction is mild to moderate. Do not bypass or modify thisstep. 4. rub both hands (up To 3 minutes, if needed) on the affectedarea, working zanfel into the skin until there is no sign Of itching (15seconds is typical for mild To moderate reactions). 5. rinse areathoroughly. If the itch returns (which could be several hours later),rewash, following steps 1 through 5, And read the q&a insert found inthe package.
