Not Well Described I purchased this gift for my mom's birthday present and had it delivered to her. Nowhere on the website does it state that the clock by default only runs on batteries. You have to order a $20 adapter if you want to plug it into the wall. My mom returned it to the store. She liked the idea of the clock, but it's not practical without a cord and who knows whether the batteries would last a long time or a little time. 11/04/2011
No cord. I ordered two one for the kids(they always get up slow). So I opened my package from site to home and noticed right away how small they were. Next I noticed they had no cord. Next I noticed that they were not very bright. I took them back. I was thinking about ordering the next one up. Just now as I am writing this I thought about light timers. I think it might just do the same thing using my existing lamps using some type of security timer. Ya thats the ticket. 12/01/2011
Do not buy! Extremely cheap. Should not pay more than $10 for it. It's not much bigger than a CD and it runs on batteries. For $50 I expected more. The light is blue not day light, my phone brightens the room better than this. The set up process was ridiculous also. 01/05/2012
