great computer. very fast, love the big hd screen. replaced my old dell with this and i am very pleased so far. i am not a computer wizz or anything close. i like to surf the net to find good deals on things i want to purchase. to me this is like trading in your old car for a nice new one. my only complaint is i like to play some games on my computer and most of my old games will not play on windows 7, no folt of the new computer. 03/02/2012
Powerful system for the price. This system fits my needs quite well. I do computer graphics work that is very processor and memory intensive. This system is strong on the two features I need most.The first thing I did when I received this system was to run a bench mark test in one of my most used 3d animation suites. This computer renders almost 5 times faster than my previous quad core system! I was accustomed to waiting hours for an image to render. This system will speed up my work considerably.As other reviewers have pointed out, a better graphics card and a higher wattage power supply would be good if you're going to be doing heavy gaming. However, despite what one might think, a high end graphics card isn't really needed for most 3d modeling/animation/video rendering work. The one included in this system appears to work just fine for my purposes.Other reviews have mentioned that the case was of poor quality. True, it is nothing fancy but it was better than I was expecting. Most of it it feels fairly sturdy, looks nice and the system runs very quietly. Some of the metal covers in the back panel are quite thin though.I'm no expert on monitors but the 23" Hannspree that comes with this package looks quite nice to me. It's big, bright, even and clear.This is quite a powerful system at an exceptional price. 02/14/2012
First Affinity I have ever purchased. Really did so because it being produced in the U.S. Had a few little things that I had to call support about. Made 2 calls thus far to support and both times the results of the call were 100% positive. Zeroed right in to the problem and fixed it without going any further. Hats off to the Affinity customer support system.My biggest complaint is with the terrible speakers that are built in to the monitor. I have to have most of the volume settings turned all the way up to get any quality out of these speakers and then the quality leaves a lot to be desired. I will eventually install a couple of exterior table-top speakers. 02/12/2012
Great buy for the price Excellent value for the price, very happy with the big beautiful screen. Would have gave it 5 stars but the hard drive rpm is a 5400 kind of sad for this set up. Really though my only complaint is a noisey DVD-rw drive. 02/11/2012
