Good bed for the $$ We purchased this bed for my 12 year old Daughter's room. It was easy to assemble and we really like it. It seems really sturdy. We did add 2 more slats on the bottom. I also like it because it is high enough to use for under-the-bed storage containers! 07/06/2009

Great Buy I bought this bed for my apartment at college. I wanted something relatively cheap that looks good. All the other bed frames that resemble this look cost a lot more money. I thought it is a great value for my money!It was fairly easy to put together. Took a total of about 30 minutes with a friend's help. I did encounter a problem though; one of the bedposts did not fit properly into the headboard and had to shave part of it in order to make it fit. Once that was done, everything fit together nicely. Also, the wood can dent easily so I recommend care. I used the site to store shipping method and there was little damage, hardly noticeable.I do recommend either a box spring or a piece of wood to lay on the slats because there are only 3 slats for support. 08/11/2009
Better than I expected!!!! I ordered this bed along with the matching dresser and nightstand for my almost 3-year-old's new "big girl" room and after reading mixed reviews, I was extremely pleasantly surprised especially with the low price and it coming from Wal-Mart! This bed, when put together correctly like my husband did, is extremely sturdy, beautiful detail and finish, and could definitely last for many years! My daughter loves her new bed. My only suggestion, as someone else mentioned, is to add some slats for the mattress support. We are using just a mattress so she will be low to the ground, but if you used a box spring, it would be fine. Highly recommended! 12/19/2009
