Rated 3 out of 5 by Frankk1251 Works acceptably if secured tightly into the drill My previous soil drills were square at the drill end. This prevented them from twisting in the drill chuck when a dense spot is hit. I have had this drill spin numerous times. One must really chuck the drill firmly.I use this drill for aerating my compost piles. I have not tried it in soil, however unless the soil is on the light side, sandy or very loamy, I doubt it will work well. 04/24/2013
