I think the Xbox should have come with more hard drive space, 4GB isn't enough if you have a lot of games to save, currently have 11 and climbing, and it should come with 2 controllers, not just 1. I bought 2, 16GB flash drives to use on the Xbox, that bumped it to 36GB after formatting them to the console, this way it's an easy and cheaper way of gaining a bunch of storage, I also think it was a little high priced being the older generation, not the Xbox 1. It works fine, graphics are pretty good, no problems with functionality. This package came with choice of 2 new games included at the $179.00 price. I bought the extended warranty with it, just do to hearing a lot horror stories from other users. Although they might not have taken care of their console. 3 years of coverage for $25.00 is cheap insurance. It comes with 4 demo games built in, not worth anything, so I deleted them and gained a little more room. It also had a card for a free 1 month subscription to Xbox Live. Overall a fun console, just a little expensive for what you get.

I love the Xbox 360. I bought this one to replace my 6 yr old one. I really should of got the one with 250 GB. I don't know what I was thinking. On my original Xbox 360 I had an external hard drive, so I guess I just kind of forgot about how small 4 GB is. I had already personalized my new Xbox when I was alerted that I was out of space on the hard drive. I really didn't want to go through the process of returning it, but I wish I had bought the other one for an extra $50. I have already ordered an external hard drive to attach, but it would have been easier, had I paid attention to what I was actually ordering.

Works fine, came quickly. Replaced my 7 year old Xbox which died. Has only a 4GB flash memory, but you can add more with a USB stick or purchase an Xbox hard drive. The hard drive from the old white ones will not fit this one without changing the housing. Good buy, good price, good service. No complaints!

I ordered this console, which is specifically advertised as Xbox 360 S (!!!!), which has an extra USB port, an optical cable port, and can play blue ray, etc. I received the Xbox 360 _E_, the newer and less functional model. I was scared to death that it wouldn't work on my analog TV, but rather than including the HDMI cable that should be standard with the 360 E, they included the old composite cables that actually worked with my older TV. I spend weeks researching the differences between the two versions and searched until I found the S for sale online at Wal-Mart for a good price, so was disappointed. Return it, and have to deal with the wait? Heck, it works, so I guess I'll keep it. And it seems to work well enough. I'm just ticked off that something that was clearly advertised in the specifications is different than what I got.

The new design is pretty good, it's to match the upcoming Xbox one. The fixed so the eject and power button aren't touch sensitive, which was annoying in the Slim version. The Slim version eject and power "buttons" you just slightly touched and either eject or power off/on. The eject and power buttons on this ne E series on, just push them and they do their thing. Been a 4gb seems a little meh, but you can always either buy a dard drive for it or just plug one in through USB. Been on a budget this helped a lot.

My old 4Gb slim Xbox 360 tended to get really hot really fast and would lock up atleast twice a day and was nearing the end of the covered Warranty period. Microsoft can charge up to $100 to repair an out of warranty console, and there is really no guarantees that I wouldn't have to get it repaired again down the road. So the logical choice was to purchase a new console and this time around pick up a 3yr warranty. I ordered this updated Xbox 360 console and received it today. All around I am pleased with the product, though there are a few features still missing that I wish could have been included, such as a blu ray drive but that is no big deal. I sold my old 4Gb Slim for $100 so really all I had to pay for this upgrade was $100 + tax. If you already own a slim and you have a 2 yr warranty for example you probably just want to keep that console as this Xbox Sleek does NOT have the touch sensitive power button or disc open/close button as the slim did. It seems they have went a step backwards when it comes to the technology of the buttons and went back to the pre slim style of the 'clicking' style of power buttons and disc open/close buttons. Other than that its still a pretty nice looking Xbox. Lastly if you have OCD like I do your going to go insane trying to keep this thing clean. Since it has a piano finish at the top of the console and on the front it really seems to attract every particle of dust possible and it can be frustrating to keep perfectly clean as like it to be personally. Lastly, the console itself does seem to run cooler than my old 4Gb Slim, however nothing has changed when it comes to the loud roar/buzzing of the DVD tray and that will probably never be improved for this current generation. Still a great upgrade in my case and it will elegantly compliment my Xbox One that I will be picking up this November. PROS: Lower power consumption compared to Xbox Slim Larger side panel grill which in turn allows for better air flow which means MUCH less overheating Designed to go perfectly with the Xbox One About 10-15% smaller in size compared to the Xbox Slim A great way to upgrade if your console is out of warranty or nearing warranties end CONS: Very hard if not impossible to find in a physical Walmart Store. You have to order online. Touch sensitive power button and Disc Open/Close feature has been removed Still NO Blu Ray Drive Console is easily scratched due to the piano black finish, and shows up a lot of dust Still no bottom side skirt to prevent tipping when placed vertical

I bought this item to get me up and moving (I use with the Kinect) and have fun doing so with the kids. We all get to laughing and sweating. My daughter has the Wii and it can be easily tricked to doing the movements. There is no cheating on these movements. Would recomend.

I got this console about a month ago, and was pretty psyched. It was the first console I got since the wii, when they were all the craze. It's a decent console, but there are a couple major flaws: 1. Most importantly, DO NOT LEAVE GAMES RUNNING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME WHILE ON PAUSE. I found this out the hard way. I had to do something in the middle of a game, so I paused it, and when I came back the console deemed the disc "unreadable." I took it out, and there was a perfect circle on the disc that hadn't been there before. It wasn't a scratch, and wouldn't wash off. Apparently if you leave a game on pause too long, the laser reader may accidentally touch the disc and burn a ring into it. The disc then doesn't function correctly. I looked up how to fix it, and many people said to take it and get it buffed by a game store. I had this done, and it still didn't work. I then resorted to the home methods, like toothpaste and chapstick. Neither of those worked. So, the game is now permanently unreadable because I left it on pause too long. Looking at other experiences, I am not the only person to have had this happen. 2. The console will freeze up after about an hour of continual use. At first I thought it may be a game issue, but it does this to any game I play. I think it may have something to do with the console overheating, but that's just my theory. You can lose quite a bit of data from these freezes - and even if you don't, it's still a hassle. The bottom line is, it's a pretty nice console but with some sizable flaws. Just don't leave your game on pause for a while, and save very frequently. That should minimize damage from the freezes and hopefully save your discs. I would recommend this product but with extreme caution.

    Newest Xbox 360 4GB (E) Console

So I'm seeing some negative feedback on the Xbox 360 4GB (E) Console. Let me start off by saying this. THIS XBOX 360 IS ADVERTISED WITH JUST 4GB OF SPACE PEOPLE. This means you're only going to get just 4GB of built in space. So getting a 250GB or 320GB HDD would be wise if you plan on getting Digital Games or DLC. You should also note that you can put a Xbox 360 (S) Console HDD in the new Xbox 360 (E) Console to get more space. I'm always upgrading my consoles to the latest one on the marketplace. I sold my Xbox 360 (S) Console and got the Xbox 360 4GB (E) Console. Also I bought the 3yr service plan at Walmart in case something goes bad with the console. Pretty much I'm using the built in 4GB of storage for my Profile, Gamer Pictures, Themes and Game Saves. While I use the 320GB HDD from my Xbox 360 (S) Console for Digital Games and Downloadable Content. Soon I will be upgrading the 320GB HDD to the new 500GB HDD when it comes out later this month. The only negative thing I have to say about the Xbox 360 (E) Console is that it doesn't have S/PDIF support which is used for surround sound headsets. I don't think Microsoft was thinking about those who use this feature in game tournaments. Hopefully they will release a upgradeable version with this feature on a later date. If not I'm okay with that because soon I will be getting a Xbox One.
