Great for kids and adults I received this chair for Christmas & am real happy with it. I read all the reviews and decided for the $ it was the best option besides an on the floor rocker. Assembly instructions are bad but it is not hard to figure out. Wireless hook-up is simple and all the cords are supplied for different ways you might want to hook up. I used the headphone jack on the TV to the wireless box (which does take 2 AAA batteries- there is a plug jack to hook up to A/C but not included) and set the chair to the same channel. Within 15 minutes of opening the box I was playing in awesomeness!! My wife loves it because I can have it loud enough for me and she can barely hear it unless I really crank it up. 1 concern I had was playing with my x-box earpiece and the sound from the chair feeding back when playing with friends. As long as you don't have the volume cranked up this is not a problem. I'm 6' so i scoot down in the chair so my butt hit the end pad and the speakers are right at my ears. 12/27/2011
Nice chair, missing parts! Purchased this chair for my son for Christmas. I attempted to put the chair together, but had realized there were screws and washers missing. Apparently, from what i've read online, this appears to be a big problem with X Rockers. Anyway, I did notice the box the chair came in was very well sealed, which means the screws didn't fall out. It's obvious they were never included in the box to begin with. So much for quality control. Being I couldn't put the chair together, I had contacted the company and they will be sending replacement parts. So my kid will have to wait. The chair does seem nice though. 12/26/2011
Wireless features incompatible with HDTVs CAUTION: This chair does NOT work with HD signals. It requires an analog signal for the speakers and wireless features. A big surprise as most gamers use HD devices. We discovered this only after completely assembling on Christmas morning and combing over the included instructions after the electronic features would not work. The website and exterior packaging do not provide this information.Otherwise, the chair is fine for the $119 price we paid pre-Christmas '11. 12/26/2011
Let me begin by just saying, I am really happy with this chair!! I had done alot of web surfing for a gaming chair, I'm not a kid anymore so I really wanted something that didn't have me sitting on the floor. The chair itself seems a bit intimidating when you first look at it to put it together. After about 45 secs of panic mode, I realized the instructions were just basic simple instructions. Which only meant I had to really pay attention to which screws went where. Once it was all put together it really does look pretty nice, you can adjust the tightness to make it more like a rocking chair...or a stiff seat. The wireless device hooked up easy, but you notice right away a type of hissing sound like static... Which when it's up really loud you forget all about...the bass is not as big of an effect like a home theater setup.. But it's just enough to get the effect. Also that static effect goes away when not using the wireless setup. Iv'e hooked it up to my alineware laptop... I pad.. And tv and it worked just fine, after getting the wireless and the chair on the right channels.All in all it's a good buy, my wife tends to sit in it more then I do!!! if the wireless setup did not give you that feedback I would have rated it 5 on the features, and if the bass had been just a little heavier another 5 on expectations. Oh the control panel on the side does have a neon blue type led which is pretty cool, if you like that sorta thing.. Which I do. For my first gaming chair, it worked out quite nicely and I'm going to order a second one so my wife can stop hogging mine!!!! Nice job!! Great buy! 04/13/2012
