Arthas Returns World of Warcraft is without a doubt one of the biggest hits for the MMORPG world in many years. With over 11 Million subscribers it's hard to think there's anything that will topple the giant that is WoW.Yet there is a good reason why they are the best at what they do because they not only give a polished product upon release, but they are able to target both the hardcore player and the casual player. They can target the Player vs Player, PvP, crowd as well as the Player vs Enviroment, PvE, crowd.This is the 2nd expansion in the World of Warcraft series and allows you to travel to Northrend to battle against The Lich King Arthas. Northrend is a level 68+ area so you must have someone leveled at least that high to travel to the new realm.If you have someone above level 55 then you can create the new Hero Class known as a Death Knight. As someone who has a level 70 Warrior at the moment I can tell you that I spent the first few hours of the release playing a Death Knight, DE, and found myself enjoying the new combat style of the death knight as well as playing a class that could tank things without a shield. If you do pick up the expansion I suggest you give this shot a try, at least to play the new intro for the class and learn how this class came about into the lore of the WoW Universe.Overall there are many improvements on all fronts that make this title a great pick up for fans of the series that have already been playing for awhile. If you have yet to level someone above level 55 then there might not be much for you at the moment to enjoy. 11/14/2008
decent expansion i work hard on a road construction crew, and ive been playing WoW for over 3 years now, this expansion is great, the death knight is an awesome class to play, northrend is a great area, not as cool as outland, but still great. raiding is ok...not nearly as challenging as it was in vanilla and burning crusade, but still fun, the change in difficulty will allow casual players to see more content. 08/11/2009
Good not great This expansion was a nice addition to WoW but is still lacking in many areas in my opinion. The Death Knights are a very cool class and have been performing great in raids whether they are specced for DPS or Tanking. Northrend is a nice new continent but at the same time by the time you hit level 76 and still have 4 to go you are going to be so bored of the endless grind that you will never want to set foot in Northrend again. Just way too much XP to level in my opinion. Overall decent though and the game has become more casual player friendly with raids like Naxx10, Obsidian sanctum etc. 4 out of 5 stars. 09/12/2009
WoWtastic I'm must say I'm very satisfied with the newest expansion pac for World of Warcraft. The detail is amazing and the over all game is awsome and at times hilarious. I preordered the game for the Nov.13th release and received it on Nov.17th with just regular shipping. I have yet to be dissatisfied with any of my orders from Walmart.com 11/19/2008
