Within those modes, World Tour Soccer '06 features a collection of point-based gameplay options, each offering its own unique set of challenges and requiring players to utilize a different set of soccer fundamentals as they attempt to take on the World's best from Africa, Asia, North America, South America and Europe, and ultimately dominate the Globe. Additionally, for hardcore soccer fans, Exhibition Match Mode offers the traditional soccer simulation gameplay, featuring over 70 International Teams with more than 1,500 world-class players and eight international stadiums. • Play Now Mode The Artificial Intelligence (AI) will select, at random, the type of challenge and a pair of evenly matched teams for a quick game on the go.

  • o Classic Challenge Players can earn or lose points for each aspect of the game on offense and/or defense, depending on their play. Stylish soccer skills earn points, while poor play on the pitch can hurt a player's score.
  • Exhibition Match Players can choose a variety of options and get on the pitch to play a quick match.
    • o Difficulty Players can choose the difficulty including: Amateur, Pro, World Class and Master Class.
    • o Match Length Players can choose the length of the match from 4-10 minutes.
    • o Stadiums Players can choose stadiums including: South America, North America, East Europe, West Europe, South Africa, North Africa, Asia and Oceania.
  • Online Gameplay Gamers can take their team of choice on the go and compete against the AI or go head-to-head in Ad Hoc mode against other soccer fans via wireless multiplayer connectivity.
    • o Ad Hoc Mode Allows two or more PSP systems to communicate directly with each other via Wi-Fi connectivity for regional/local multiplayer gameplay. (Up to Four players.)
    • o Game Sharing Allows players to participate in a head-to-head wireless match without both players owning a UMD disc/copy of the game.
  • Trophy Room As players compete, they can win trophies, medals and achievement awards.
