Very sturdy stand. It's perfect for my Casio wk-200. I use the highest setting on the stand and it's perfect for the chair I sit on, I can even play my keyboard standing up because of the stand. Overall great stand.

I agree with most of the reviewers: this is a simple, but sturdy, keyboard stand. When assembling, the larger feet go on the floor and the shorter feet go under the keyboard. If the feet are assembled as shown (disk with holes to one side), the height choices are 25.5", 30". 33.5", 36.5" and 38.5" from the floor to the bottom of the keyboard. (At the 38.5" height, the stand is really too narrow to be stable.) If the feet are assembled with the legs at right angles to that shown (disk with holes either up or down), then the height choices are 10.5", 16", 21.5", 28.5", and 31". (At the 10.5" height, the stand is too wide for a 61-key keyboard.) The 16" height is ideal for our 4-year old (using an 11" high bench she can sit stably with her feet flat on the floor) and the 21.5" height is ideal for our 8-year olds (using a 16" high bench). I use the 25.5" height with a 20" bench. The bench in all cases is the World Tour Deluxe Padded Keyboard Bench, also available from Walmart for $24.00. (The normal bench heights are 19", 20", or 21". I drilled a few extra adjustment holes for the lower heights.)

    • It just sits on top of the stand, it does not connect. I was worried that the keyboard would be wobbly or would easily be pushed off of it. The top of the stand bars have rubber pieces on them which help to keep the keyboard in place without scratching. Unless you plan on moving your keyboard and stand often, you shouldn't have any problems with it staying put.

    • My yamaha just sits on the stand, no problems with stability.

    • Actually, you can just sit the keyboard on top of the stand. my keyboard can be carried with one hand pretty easily, but when placed on the stand, because the stand can be spread apart to support the keyboard closer to the ends of the keyboard, you don't have to worry about the keyboard tipping on the stand. it won't tip to the front, back, or to either side. As long as yo are placing the keyboard on the ceter of the stand like it should be placed, and are trying to put the supports of the keyboard stand about 85% of the way towards the ends of the kdyboard on both sides, that keyboard will not move unless you purposely move it due in part to rubberized rings on the keyboard supports that assit the keyboard in staying put. I hope this helps to answer your question. best regards, eaglemusiclover

    • The keyboard sits on top. There are rubber pads so it does not slide around up there and seems sturdy enough to me.

    • It sits on top. dont worry it is strong enough and sturdy enough. just make certain you centre the keyboard

    • The keyboard sits on top and is not attached. But, one could easily attach the two together. Because the stand is adjustable there is no need to have them bolted together. This stand is adjustable so one can sit "me" or stand if one wanted to. This is actually a great stand for the money and believe it or not quite sturdy. A monkey could put it together.

    • As far as I can tell, the keyboard just sits on top. You can perhaps adjust the rubber ends on the top bars that directly support it so that they help create sort of a partial ledge, to keep it sliding too far forward or backward, depending on the depth of the keyboard. But my solution was to tuck a piece of that rubbery stuff (you know, it is used to keep rugs from skidding across the floor) between the keyboard and the tops of the supports. Keyboard doesn't slide anymore.

    • The keyboard just sits on top of it. No, it is not too sturdy, but we do not have any problems with that. The stand itself is not sturdy on a carpet, which is a bigger problem for us, because we have a carpet in our apartments. But we foresaw this problem...
