Best chair for your back!

Customer review by Haik17

Ergonomic chair design I've used for over 20 years. This model was the easiest to put together and the easiest to adjust for counter height vs table height. Looks sharp, nice wood toones, gray padded cushions. Others in the lab have tried it and are amazed at how comfortable. All your weight is on your knees, great relief for arthritic hips. Design helps you keep your spine straight as well - you can't slump. Value +++++

Easy on your back

I owned a kneeling chair before and last me many years. It helps me to maintain a good posture as it made you keep the back straight. I was concern about getting a new one because I had knee replacement but the kneeling pad is very comfortable. I recommend anyone that want to release the pressure and back pain to get one. Thanks

Saved my back!

Customer review by Mozartfan

I had been battling a herniated disc for over a year but also resisting surgery. I thought I would give it one last shot by changing from the high-end architect's office chair at work (for which my boss paid $850) for this kneeling chair. Well, I'll be -- it did the trick! Two months after using it, with a few session of physical therapy, I am now pain-free. I am 5' and of average weight so I don't know how it would hold up under someone heavier but the padding for both the knees and the seat are fine for me (your weight isn't on the seat much anyway). I have slight arthritis in my knees but the kneeling process doesn't hurt my knees at all. Only negative about the chair is that the screws keeping falling off every so often, after about 4-6 weeks of use. Minor inconvenience considering the price point but I now keep a Phillips screwdriver at my desk. Overall, you can't go wrong with this purchase if sedentary work has been killing your back.

  • No idea. Looks fairly sturdy for an average size human. For an overweight person it may be a bit more uncomfortable because of the way you bend your legs to sit.

  • A label on the chair says 200 lbs. I think it's sturdier than that (but not a huge amount over 200) but I'd guess to be safe stick with the recommended weight.

  • I'd say yes only because the settings the support is wooden and the knobs that hold the chair in its setting are only made of wood. but it depends how heavy you are.
